they have been playing like this for years tbh. Even in the World Cup they barely beat far inferior teams by 1 goal and advanced with the help of penalties. LOL switzerland, belgium.

don't mean . They still favorites because for inferior teams its near impossible to beat them. especially when they always hold the ref card.

they're basically the Lakers of the southern hemisphere.

how is it an "excuse" when we're saying the team is playing like ?

There's no excuses for how they're playing, especially defensively... Teo Rodriguez should tap that ass easily.

Plus you have Aguero, Missi, Fatguain and Tevez and you only score 4 goals in 3 games?

lol @ hiring Martino when Barca won everything once they fired him
DAF is setting up the excuse speech saying the bracket is awful, compe ion is fierce, 5 true contenders etc....

truth is Brazil sucks ass, this is the same team who got 7 in the ass a year ago... Argentina is the only nation playing with his star and is finalist of the WC...

pathetic to see my country men talking up paraguay- the same team that finished last in 2014 qualys with a negative 14 goal difference and won all of 3 games, and for what: tying argentina and uruguay and beating jamaica thanks to a blooper; a colombia team that has maybe 4-5 decent players and whose only merit this cup was to beat brasil 1-0, and one of if not the worst brasil team of all time. not to mention a chile team that is the shortest and oldest in the cup, has no defense and no forwards (FYI, chile has beat argentina in an official match ONCE in all its history, when messi and co. were laying down to get coco basile fired). of course chile looks good against bolivia and ecuador (which was missing their best players to injury anyway). they'll be lucky to beat uruguay.

check the betting sites, argentina is comfortably the favorite. IMO not because they are so great or because they have messi (who is still the best on earth right now), but because everyone else is playing like crap and doesnt have near the talent argentina does. and like i've been saying for the past 6-7 years now, this generation of players, in america AND europe, is weak. it is absolutely a failure to lose this cup, but if that happens it will be primarily martino's fault (and to a lesser extent, the overrated aguero/higuain/di maria for squandering chances). But if they score even 20% of their chances, that should be enough to win, despite martino.

as for messi, unless he scores some big goals like he did for barca vs munich and atletico, a win is meaningless for his legacy, because they are supposed to win. a loss, unfairly, will be a stain for messi no matter what. such is life

Paraguay is still undefeated, tbh, and they already played Uruguay and Argentina...

We all know they're not world-beaters, and that every team except Chile has sucked more or less, but you gotta give them a nod. Heck, didn't they win their first Copa America game in like 10+ years?

I don't even know if this Brazil can beat them, tbh... any other year, you would say there's no way they survive Brazil. Not this time around.

I'm with you though that if Argentina doesn't win it, it's all on Martino... not only the offense has been subpar, he managed the wreck the defense, which was the high point of Sabella.

Cavani is staying with the team in Chile but it's not confirmed he'll play. If he doesn't it could be better for the team TBH.

    Yup.

Ppl don't mention that Colombia will be without 3 important stars. Valencia, Sanchez and Bacca. ing cakewalk for Evitaland tbqh.

And I disagree. If Argentina fails the blame should be put on 100% squarely on Messy.

He's supposed to be the best in the planet? The best in history? And can't even carry a group of Euro mega veterans past a bunch of ty teams???

    Gimme a ing break.

Don't worry no way Argetina chokes this cakewalk

You can come up with all the subjective, bull arguments you want to try to bring down teams but the truth is that this Copa America is the most come ive ever since it has arguably 5 of the best 10 teams in the World and that has never happened before in a Copa America and Argentina will have to face them all if they want to win.

Just that? With all that laughing I thought you had like 5 changes.

And just for the record, you're talking about the Italy that got eliminated in the group stage of the WC against the likes of Costa Rica and guess who else. That Italy? The same that got eliminated in the group stage of the 2010 WC too? That same Italy?

    ... sorry but no

    that's not brutal.... at all

Argentina finished 2nd of the wc one year ago, Messi is the best player in the world, Brazil is a joke probably worst team ever built in last 30 years, Chile is old as and massively flawed, Uruguay is Uruguay annoying and difficult to play but should not scare a team like Argentina and Colombia ya is complicated to play against but they are a bit overrated... it should be a cakewalk, not winning would be an upset... deal with it tbh

they are important stars in Colombia tbh. 2 starters and one who is far superior and should start instead of FailCancer (Bacca)
