Portland is finalizing a trade to send Nic Batum to Charlotte for Noah Vonleh and Gerald Henderson, league sources tell Yahoo.

Henderson can't shoot. Hornets need outside shooting and have needed to dump Henderson for a while.
Vonleh spent most of his rookie season on the bench injured or 3rd on the depth chart.
hornets are also shopping Zeller. Looks like they may target Kaminsy at 9.
It's not a trade Portland makes if LMA is staying. If he leaves, it's for the Spurs/

Sources: Blazers didn't make deal as first step of rebuilding. Aldridge was aware of trade, and Blazers did deal independent of free agency.
Batum and MKG tho. That's a legit perimeter duo, something Lance failed to provide last year. If they can get Kaminsky or WCS at 9, that would wrap a pretty good off season for Charlotte.

I am told the @hornets will also end up with Jeremy Lamb in a separate deal involving Matt Barnes' contract. Barnes isn't going to OKC.

Portland is ed, a very drastic rebuilding IMO, on the other hand Charlotte is becoming interesting.
^Interesting in the sense that nobody on their team can shoot.

LMA is gone, rebuild time.
They appear to be trying to fix that. They dumped Stephenson and his record low 3pt %. They'd dumped Henderson, who also can't shoot. They have picked up Lamb and Batum. They also appear to be shopping Zeller for a shooter.
