Nick Johnson - a 6'3" athletic young Pg
Donatas Montiejunas- a 7' athletic good passing big man
kJ Mcdaniels- a 6'6" super athletic defensive wing to replace Green

i also think a future. 1st rounder needs to be in there too. I also believe we will be trading splitter to get back in to the first round.

I'd consider 32 and 18 for 26 and Mills. No? Then there's nothing to discuss.

Funny Spurs wouldn't help a division rival get deeper
We better get two future first rounders then if we are helping out a division rival.
Reminds me of the 2003 draft when we drafted Leandro Barbosa at #28 at the direction of Phoenix to trade him, passing on Josh Howard at #29 who went to Dallas. In this maneuver we actually helped a conference and divisional rival. Everyone of the Spurs staff, including Duncan, wanted Howard but Popovich vetoed Howard.

Turns out Pop was right. Howard turned out to be a doper who had a 500 game career. Even Dallas, where he had his greatest success, tired of and ultimately dumped him.

Spurs probably wait to see what's available before trading pick.

Howard was decent early in his career, though he was mostly a choker. At his peak, he was a pot addict who rapidly declined.

I would like the Spurs to trade #26 straight up for Todorovic, Llull or Capela in that order.

If we could trade manu and tony to get Russell that would be awesome. I think Russell can do replace both. Plus he is left handed. 6'5" and can shoot 3's and pass.

Yep. Actually, as it turns out, it wouldn't have been so bad to have kept Barbosa.

He was great early in his career and played the position we were frantically trying to get people like Ira Newble to cover. We win three in a row with Josh Howard instead of every other year.

The era after Elliotts transplant/decline and before Bowen's acquisition which featured Chucky Brown, Charles Smith, Ira Newble, Danny Ferry was before 2003 (when Howard was drafted).

Agree Howard was great in early career, but SA already had Bowen, Manu, Stephen Jackson (or Hedo), Devin Brown at the time Howard was drafted.

If they resign Jackson or draft Howard in 03' offseason or sign Jermaine ONeal instead of Rasho, I think SA goes on to win 3,4, maybe 5 in a row, tbh..

    i like terrence jones.
    And here we go.

The Houston Rockets will pursue Kevin Love and LaMarcus Aldridge in free agency.

While seeking cap space, the Rockets will attempt to trade Terrence Jones on draft day.

Aldridge and Love will both be unrestricted free agents. -REALGM

I would vote for keeping everybody together and add Terrence, and a somebody at SG/SF (Matthews, Middleton) and race for seis than trading everybody and losing Green while getting LMA.
