#26 Justin Anderson
#55 Larry Nance
Please, no wish lists, no contingencies, they belong in other threads.
Simply who do the Spurs draft?
If you predict a trade, then list it as pick# player without other trade pieces; for example #14 Kawhi Leonard (no mention of George Hill).
My predictions, with the understanding I have been correct only three times in the past; David Robinson, Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter.
#26 Michael Frazier II
#55 Alan Williams
Why? Highest Pelton WARP that the Draft Express mock expects to be available.
Last year, I had:
#30 Nikola Jokic
#58 Ondrej Balvin
#60 Ioannis Papapetrou
I predict that my predictions will be as accurate this year.
#26 Justin Anderson
#55 Larry Nance
#14 Willie Cauley-Stein
#31 Justin Anderson
#36 Christian Wood
#55 Juan Vaulet
I would cry myself to sleep with tears of happiness
Based on the FA rumblings I hear
I think they are going complete draft and stash (of course I have no real clue what the Spurs are going to do...)
#26. Guillermo Hernangomez Spain or Nikola Milutinov Serbis
#55 Menhir Obelix France
Cameron Payne with our trade up pick.
Justin Anderson, Pat Caughaton or whatever it is pronounced
If Justin Anderson falls to 26, they take him. Otherwise its one of the Euros and stash him.
Spurs will try to trade up, but their efforts will prove futile. Therefor, they stay pat and select:
26. Guillermo Hernangomez, C Spain (definitely a draft-and-stash pick w/ this pick. Especially since they believe they're in the running for LMA.)
55. Juan Pablo Vaulet, SF Argentina
Since I'm pretty confident Spurs will go draft-and-stash at 26, other options include:
C Nikola Milutinov
SF Aleksander Vezenkov
C Arturas Gudaitis
SF Cedi Osman
If the Spurs were to go American, I think the pick would be Kevon Looney of UCLA. I think he's the player who slips in the draft. All the other top prospects will likely be gone.
They better draft someone who's coming over. I can't watch the summer league if the only rookie to look forward seeing is Adam Freaking Hanga.
what's there to look forward to? dude basically has shown no intention of playing in the nba
a lock to go draft and stash unless there is a falling shot blocker
He's actually gonna play in the SL though. That's something, but it also underscores my point.
It's very underwhelming if they don't sign someone who can play or essentially learn with the Toros this season. There is still hope though, spurs could essentially pick nobody and if one of the Harrison twins doesn't go drafted or someone falls out of the draft tonight can't they invite them to SL?
Of course, and they will have a couple of rookies there. Will be mostly foreign vets and busts/fringe players, though.
is JLC playing? I'm interested in seeing what he can do but man I hope they get Justin Anderson
LJC should be playing, but no confirmation that I know of.
I know there could be a trade but I'm gonna play it safe and say Gudaitis for the first and JP Vaulet for the second. I had Bogdan Bogdanovic last year for the first.
1st rd pick= Harrell
2nd rd pck= Vaulet
I would order the (somewhat) realistic picks at 26:
1. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
2. Justin Anderson
3. Montrezl Harrell
4. Terry Rozier
5. Christian Wood (although he might be available somewhere in the 2d round)
Or Euros to Stash:
1. Cedi Osman
2. Guillermo Hernangomez
26 - Jaiteh
55 - Shaun Dawson
