According to TMZ, one of UCLA’s assistant coaches was “screaming at Justin on the field,” and Diddy later “confronted the coach and grabbed him.” As a result, Diddy, 45, was “arrested for assault” and remains in custody “at campus jail.”
UCLA later confirmed the report and said that Diddy was charged with "assault with a deadly weapon," with the weapon being a kettlebell – a piece of weightlifting equipment.
Here's UCLA's full statement:
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. today, Sean Combs (also known as P. Diddy) was arrested at UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, which was a kettlebell. No one was seriously injured and UCPD is investigating. Combs is expected to be transported to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.

Can't take the fact that his kid sucks![]()
You know anything at all about his kids football prowess?
Yeah, I know he sucks. He never played before the incident, forget about it now.
Anyone who gets signed by a DI program doesn't suck. You do understand all the different levels of college ball, right?
Sometimes you come off dumber than a rock guy.
So, how do you explain the fact he doesn't play? Don't you think UCLA would love to play as many good corners as possible?
He's obviously an idiot too, which is why he took to twitter to defend his Dad's actions even though he is still attending UCLA.
You simply don't have a clue do ya amigo?
You have any idea at all how many non DivI schools there are out there? I could rattle off a 100 schools right now you've never even heard of. To be at a DI school tells us what, come on little fella, think.
Dude, a 9.96 sprinter would have a hard time making that Jamaica 4x1 relay team, while totally ruling all of Asia/Middle East/Austrailia/most of Europe.
I know, ya don't get it.
You don't think having a multimillionaire hip hop executive for a father could play a role in influencing decisions now, do you? Noooooo... because like you always say.. It's not all about money.
It might make a difference at Humbolt State or East Texas State, trust me nobody at a place like UCLA will be impressed with anyones dad. This is LA, not Buttlick Iowa.
Ok wise ass, how do you explain Tim Floyd going on record that the recruitment of Master P's (another multimillionaire rapper/executive) son to USC was to sell more tickets? Can't get much more into the heart of LA than USC bruh. He didn't last long because, believe or not.. He SUCKS.

Now go ahead and try to spin that into some other bull , as you've never been wrong in the history of ST.
What's to spin, I'm talking about football not basketball. In case ya haven't noticed they are totally different.
Whether the ball is round or oblong, the off the court/field politics are all the same.
A game with 12 players and tiny stadiums (compared to football) is a whole other deal. In more intimate settings like that things are way different than they are with 100 man rosters and 100, 000 man stadiums. Totally different deal.
Celebrity in LA is a lot different than anywhere else.
Try a different schtickkk for a while.
Rick Neuheisel: Diddy Combs' celebrity led to son's UCLA offer
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ons-ucla-offer
The kid had how many offers from other schools? And UCLA loves a distraction, right? What football program wants a distraction? I'm not buying it especially since the kid can play.
Is not hearing it straight out of Neuheisels mouth enough for you?
Ya the kid is so good he has played how many minutes so far?
