You know? I actually feel better about the draft than I did before this pick. We'll at least get to see him in the summer league. The fact that he's so obscure means one of two things: Either he's the best player who agreed to go overseas for a year or the Spurs saw something they really liked when they scouted him. It'll suck if it's the former, but I can' see it. There were legit international prospects left. If it's the latter, then I'm excited. Just crazy enough to work.

I'd much rather see in next month than Baynes, Ayres, Pittman or Green.

Solid skills around the rim. His contract will be unguaranteed right? Hes like a rich mans version of Ayres.

He's a 23yr old project big. Wouldn't you rather have a 19yr old project big? Bizarre.

He's already 23 which makes me think the Spurs will bring him in to the team straight away. No point in drafting a guy that old if he isn't ready to join the team, doubt he'll improve much overseas.

6'10 with a 7'5 wingspan, could be a bigger, less skilled DeJuan Blair.

Expecting anything that deep in the draft is foolish. Ginobili was once in a lifetime.

Ayers replacement, perhaps? Couldn't be any worse, could he?

I like him A LOT actually. Thought he was just a plodder. But he's not range and footwork. And shot-blocking. a excited to see him now.

Haha, no one's expect Manu or even Thomas. But can he be Baynes with shot-blocking? Sure. And that's a crazy improvement, actually.

What are the chances of him actually sticking with the team? A good run at summer league?

He's 6' 8'' without shoes but his wingspan is sick.
