You know which one... Robert E. Lee High School.

Lee is actually one of the few confederates I would forgive and probably did enough other things worth honoring.

Actually, the first time I was on the UT campus, I was shocked there was a statue there of him. It seems so out of place.
I guess now that HUD is saved he can turn his attention to more important matters.
Yeah, it takes so much time and effort to call for a school name change -- not that I even agree with the proposition, tbh.
Its just a stupid argument for stupid people. While I think it is important to remove the confederate flag from flying over a government building I do not think that we have to remove all things associated with the losing party from the Civil War. Lee certainly accomplished enough to warrant a school being named after him. my high school was named after a British Prime Minister. Should I be offended because his people slapped a tax on my ancestor's tea and burned down our White House?
hool yawn goes too far. Bobby Lee isn't used as a symbol of racism and white supremacy, even if he were, more or less, a white supremacist like all the rest of the South.
If Lee HS name goes, then so should slave-owning Thomas Jefferson HS go, too.
Castro should shut the up.
Why stop there? Blow this er up too, Boo.

No, but Lee was actually on the side of the confederacy.
Slavery was the problem, not the war to preserve white supremacy and slavery.
I think we should get rid of the Declaration of Independence too. Just propaganda written by a a slave holder. Same thing with the cons ution. The "father" of the cons ution, James Madison, also held slaves.
America was all a plot to perpetrate slavery.
Quite stupid, tbh.
