Unlike those s, Duncan is a smart guy and he knows how to spend his money wisely. Dude's life is incredibly frugal and low-profile for a celebrity of his caliber imho. Even though frauds and the illegal immigrant had taken away a big deal of money from him, he still has more than enough money to sustain his lifestyle for at least two thousand years to come, imho.

Reebok apparently saved Iverson's drinking, gambling self from a lifetime of autograph signings.

As part of his divorce proceedings, it was revealed that at the peak of his career, Reebok set aside a $30 million rainy day trust fund for Iverson. The problem is, he can't touch it until 2030, when he is 55 years old.

Dunno what figure is right here, but I've seen interviews in the past that indicated he wouldn't end up like Pippen.

Also Tim's case isn't resolved yet. His wife may have gone behind his back, but if it means he gets to keep 100% instead of 50% the whole thing will look a lot more alpha in the long run, and that's what matters.

Really the NBA does a pretty good job of helping its players hang on to some of their money. In the NFL things are much sadder.

Absolutely, daddy-O. And I was here that very day and for many days after taking my lumps---arms crossed in front of me---(I saw this tact employed in the remake of the Alamo & thought it classy.)...tee, hee.

It does. Sure we dont play but as fans we matter. Not as much as we may think , like or hope but we do. No problems with that at all. I bet despite the heart-ache of "6" ...5 was like new puss ...even if you hit it 4 times before ...

Low financial literacy makes many athletes susceptible to getting scammed or suffering losses in high-risk investments. Low financial literacy shows up in a poor understanding of how investments work, what cons utes realistic returns and reasonable fees, and how advisers are supposed to interact with clients.

A college education doesn't guarantee financial success. For athletes and others, some vital money lessons are learned the hard way.....

    Mike Tyson

    Terrell Owens
    Allen Iverson
    Michael Vick
    Lawrence Taylor
    Manny Pacquiao
    Antoine Walker
    Lenny Dykstra
    Deuce McAllister
    Latrell Sprewell
    Scottie Pippen
    Steve Francis
    Stephon Marbury
    Dennis Rodman
    Pacman Adam Jones
    Tim Duncan
You can be financial literate and make sound decisions and still end up broke and vice versa.

Reebok apparently saved Iverson's drinking, gambling self from a lifetime of autograph signings.

And you forgot club hopping for Iverson. I saw him in a Houston nightclub about 6-7 years ago and he had a police escort caravan for him and his posse.

That's horse . You just said 20 minutes ago that no LF is implying such. Now it's "I never said such"......

Your hand is caught in the Cookie Jar. Now the way I see it...you've got two choices:

    1. Admit you made a honest mistake.
    2. Throw Kool under the bus and declare him to be full of .

If I was your lawyer...I would advise #2.

Christ, Kool was being facetious, &. His tongue was firmly set in cheek. Just joshin' ya's. Funnin' about. That's why he set the smiliy next to Tim's name.

You're blood drunk, &. Calm the down.

^And you should be---it was all right there in front of you. An easier path to a repeat does not exist. You own LeBron's jock. Right this second you'd be sittin' on easy street torturing LF, makin' us eat the sandwiches as quick as Kori could make 'em. Instead, look at ya's. Just sad for you fellows.
