People keep talking about cap jumps but overpaying is overpaying ...Deals like Unibrows is not what screws up salaries it's deals like Lopez's and Thad Young's that is the problem. stars will always get paid.

LOL at folks expecting LeBron not expect a max when he sees this . I told you guys all last year LeBron is not gonna give a discount because of his endorsements, because at some point he will expect a salary that matches his value to a franchise and the league ... and he will deserve every penny of whatever he gets. it's on the Cavs to figure out a way to win around him just like now the clock is ticking for NOLA. When you have the best players you have to find the right pieces to win and not waste their primes ... why should they give a discount?

You're always going to see deals like this when you cap the salaries of the truly elite like James, Davis, and Durant. You didn't see so many of these crazy deals for midrange guys in the nineties when guys like Jordan and Ewing were eating most of their team's cap.
