Lakers never had a prayer, to be honest.
Kobe had two great bigs in his career (Shaq, Pau) can't get anymore to play with his credit-hogging ass.
Kobe destroyed Pau, nobody would want to play with him after that. , old sport Marc even remembers what they did to his brother. Lakers are no longer the dream destination for players ........... but we already knew that, especially after the whole "now this is going to be fun" situation
I can't imagine anyone good would want to partner with Kobe's broken down arse that just missed the last two seasons to injury. To top it off he makes a ridiculous $25 million per season, highest in the game and a cap space killer.
Yep, pretty obvious Kobe thinks there is a "I" in team, it's always been about him.

Russell the saviour![]()
You mean you don't want to play with the future core of Clarkson + Randle.
Parker's decline is a concern and Ginobili is hard to replace, but he wasn't a key last year. But the LAL are a dumpster fire at this point still.
I think Shaq gave LMA the heads up about Kobe when LMA visited the TNT set back when he had injured his hand.
He would rather play with someone of similar personality.
Truth.
I can't wait for TP to have a bounce back year and quiet some of his critics![]()
Parker was due to health, Manu if he returns will play even fewer minutes. But Leonard improving like he has every year and LA learning from Timmy in a winning culture will be the biggest factors.
What!!! They must not have offered him his own TV show like Howard.
All the Lakers can do is use their history, and media market. Winning is just that... history.
Just told my friend who is a lakers fan the same thing. They won't contend again until
KoMe leaves
Kobe's difficult personality has been on full display for years now. It might've been bearable for someone in the past who was eager to win, but now that he is far past his prime and returning from multiple injuries, no sensible person wants to deal with it...
Kobe is seemingly falling in all the s**t that he has piled up over the years. You'd have to be mentally challenged to sign with the Lakers at this point, that franchise has gone from sugar to s**t with Kobe at the helm lol.
