    Pros:
    LMA
    healthy Parker, KL, and Mills
KL and DG with absolutely no concerns about contracts

    Cons:
age of TD, TP, and Boris
    loss of Splitter on D

It will be huge if they can get him and I think it's an upgrade but seems like the effects of losing Splitter are being underestimated

If Ginobili returns and Parker can work his way back up to being even just a slightly above average PG, then yes IMO, although you have to give the champs the benefit of the doubt, I suppose..

I still want another ball-handler off the bench, though..

Spurs could already beat GSW last year, GSW should have rocked Cleveland but needed six games. If they can cover for Parker and injuries are not a big concern this team should be favorites in my book. LMA shouldn't be hard to fit in.

I think - baring any major injury or change in the team chemistry/composition - the Champs should always be the favorites.

That beings aid, I think the Spurs would be a close second, if not tied, if we can get LMA.

My biggest fear is that LaMarcus Aldridge takes a year to get the offense down

If Parker doesn't sabotage the team this year, I think we are.

I'm really interested in who the 3rd PG will be.... If Cojo comes back, I'd expect more minutes from him and Mills compared to this season. Hope to see Kawhi continue to improve his handles and evolve towards a Scottie Pippen-like point forward...

I wouldn't say favorites due to health and decline issues/worries ... but they'd have a damn high ceiling.

    PG situation is serious.

The Parker that made Chris Paul work on D was absent.

Vegas put the Spurs at No. 2 behind Cleveland to win it all with LMA walking to the table. I think, if the Spurs rebound from the inconsistent year they just had, with LMA on the roster their floor should be West Finals.

serious problems at the guard positions, no one there who can create/breakdown the D. we'll have to run everything through the forwards

and looks like P&R defense will be pretty bad
