Except they lostCarroll too!
If Tim Hardaway Jr and Greivis Vasquez were worth a first rounder a piece, Splitter has to be worth at least that much.
Except they lostCarroll too!
people did not think they could keep 3
I think they keep milsap now
Per the Hawks' SBNation site....
It should be noted that future draft picks would also cons ute "non-roster pieces."According to multiple sources, the Hawks have acquired Tiago Splitter in a deal involving non-roster pieces. I've talked about the non-roster pieces before and they include the rights to Marcus Eriksson and Dimitrios Agravanis (2015 NBA Draft), Edy Tavares and Lamar Patterson (2014 NBA Draft), Sergey Gladyr (drafted in 2009), Giorgos Printezis (part of the Thabo sign-and-trade), Alain Digbeu (drafted in 1997), and Augusto Binelli (drafted in 1986). So the Hawks will be sending the rights to one or more of these players in exchange for Tiago.
I think now that they've lost Carroll and Millsap has a huge offer from Orlando, they may try to work a sign-and-trade for Tobias Harris.
so... if LMA doesn't happen, what's the plan![]()
hawks said they will match the numbers with magic
missing tiago
Future Draft Picks?
I wan't Augusto Binelli!
Wonder when we'll hear what they got- other than cap space
Chandler + another piece?
And 4: we send Splitter to a coach and system he knows.
Max out Iman Shumpert
I dunno if I like the loss of a good defender but I'll take it if we get LMA now
I sure hope one of the pieces doesn't include someone who was drafted 30 years ago. or even 18 years ago.
Wow. We better have gotten draft picks for this trade. You don't trade a starting center and get nothing in return. As another poster said I wouldn't mind Walter Tavares a big dude who can protect rim and rebound and not bad in half court offense
Monroe apparently
Thats what I was thinking .I was praying we get the hawks 1st ?lol
Any others?
Any ideas to split the excess cap space between more than one player?
Tavares = Gobert
Quit playing games with my heart, is that vag really outta SA?
I would think so. Make a run at a young RFA perhaps.
Of course there's always next year when the cap goes up by $20MM.
Is your avatar supposed to be irony for this post?
Pay Marc Gasol a bit more, resign Marco, Mills, and the rest of the core to reasonable contracts and call it a day.
Hate to see him go but this is good news..he's in the East now..I don't want him to play in any WC teams like Dallas..
If Aldridge signs elsewhere, ang M. Gasol will stay in Memphis, we're doomed
I can't think of any plan C for now
