Great - DG is essential to the Spurs regardless of getting LMA or not. Love his at ude/love/respect for the Spurs and his remembering where he came from/how hard it was. Well deserved - congrats!

I agree with you. Manu and Tim would've been in the meeting making a verbal commitment of the respective amount they were going to take in order to talk about LMA's salary demands. But since Duncan is the only one pitching the ability to take a pay cut, it makes it seem as if Manu's out of the picture.
