Money wise? No.
It's pretty much a wash when it comes down to defensive ability v. offensive ability.
Hmmm, any intl players who are NBA ready?

I mean, if the Spurs lose Aldridge to the Suns, he never planned to come to S.A. anyway.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance...
You'd have to think it's either Spurs or just take the money in Portland.
Walter Tavares (7'2" center, insane length as well) is an interesting prospect...I don't think he's NBA ready at this point though.
Lol why ppl so negative. Chillax. Lamar will stumble into spurstalk tonight while doing research and sign for RC first thing in the morning.![]()
BTW, any word that the Spurs have a time frame on this? I think I'd rather just go get someone else instead of letting LA bask in this attention while the other free agents are snatched up.
Damn. I wish Spurs could trade Parker for no one.
I have gotten zero work done today...
This could take a while to find out his decision so I'm looking for something to read while I wait. Does anybody know if this a good book?

He's a really smart pick and roll player though. I think he grew another inch too.
I feel that way about all of his options outside of POR/HOU/DAL. But less with Dallas because their roster is in such flux right now.
But POR I understand. They haven't been world beaters and are likely losing Batum and Wes, but he loved his time there and had some success. Plus more money.
HOU has a squad and even if they need to gut it to get him, Harden/Dwight/LMA is a monster.
No one else makes sense because they aren't in TX, cant offer more money or a better chance to win. If he chooses someone like PHX/NY he never was serious about SA.
Yeah. SUns and Rockets both went into meetings with little cap space and needing to shed a significant amount to get LMA. We probably could have waited a bit.
What's weird is that Lakers reporter saying the Lakers had a 50/50 chance. Was that a random guess? Wonder if that figure has any real significance.
I saw that, but I just assumed it's LA egomania. If someone actually said that, then yeah he never had any intention of going to San Antonio. It's an awfully elaborate ruse for the brother to sell his house, though.
Marc Stein just reiterated on SportsCenter that it the Spurs are still in the lead and that they made a real big impression on LMA.
50/50 chance of being considered seriously.
Glass half-empty: pushing Portland or other more desired destination to do what he wants.
Terry freakin' Stotts. I mean, C'mon!!!
Man today has just been crazy with all the FA News
More negative: why go through all this if you know you want to move? It was some time ago but let's recall that TD had all but moved to Orlando and next door to Tiger Woods before re-signing.
Esp now that Love agreed to stay with Cleveland...& the reason why they passed on J. Okafor...LA's confidence is higher I think
Son of a...
