Hopefully he decides tomorrow, out of respect to the other teams so they can move on with free agents
Well, they had to make a run. But, yeah, he pretty much has the Blazers on a string right now. Can make them dance until he gets everything he wants.
Hopefully he decides tomorrow, out of respect to the other teams so they can move on with free agents
Looks like dude is overcomplicating things.
I'm getting kind of tired of this. Really? What are they going to tell him that he doesn't already know? Is he just an airhead who takes the side of the last person to talk to him?
TheMACHINE will enter legendary status if it happens.
The Knicks have to be considered a threat if LMA wants limelight + endorsements + big market.
Hey, come here and suck.
He is coming home baby! Phoenix is worse than standing pat imo
And a longer summer than most.

Yeah, too much drama. If he was hard leaning to SA then meeting today would've clinched it and we'd have some kind of announcement tonight.
Personally, I have no problem with Aldridge taking his time. A decision by this weekend would actually be relatively quick compared to the slow decision-making of past Big Name Free Agents.
Now if it goes past Friday night, that's when I'd start getting antsy.
If LMA Spurs the Spurs we're going to look like chumps for letting Splitter go.
Talking to the Knicks?? I don't get it, why do this all star guys that are in their prime and without a ring even talk to a franchise like the Suns or the rebuilding teams in LA and NY. If he signs for one of those teams and says he signed cause he believes they can win the championship he is full of bull .
LeBron didn't decide last year until like the 11th, so yeah this would be a step up.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic because we're the Spurs, but idk, I'm starting to think more and more that he isn't coming here. Hope RC and the gang has a decent backup plan...would suck to lose Splitter for nothing essentially.
I've been telling you all along that this dude is a loser in every sense of the word.
I honestly think this could come down to who the Spurs have sold him on playing C next to going forward. Not only does that appear to be a big deal to him, but the type of one does too. Chandler is a perfect fit and if they keep Len, he could be a solid one too.
I understand why they dumped Splitter over Diaw and came around on it, but as far as selling him, the opposite probably would have been better.
Ego man, ego. They eat this up....
Aldridge isn't coming here. If the Suns are literally neck-and-neck with the Spurs he isn't serious about winning which is the Spurs' biggest drawing point.
well if he chooses the Suns at least it will be funny.![]()
He isn't serious. Been saying for weeks. He wants fame and the limelight. One of his reasons for wanting to leave the Blazers was Lillard getting more fame than him.
The ing Suns. Good look being a 7-8 seed (if anything) for the next 2 years and maybe getting a 4-5 seed after that...
Pretty premature to say Aldridge doesn't want to come here just because he hasn't announced it already. Maybe he just wants to go through with his meetings and then announce. No need to rush. Annoying yes, but drawing up a new narrative because a few hours pass is extreme.
