It's amazing how the suns and blazers are trying to do a poor man's Riley super friends impression. Meanwhile the spurs just make moves like they own the league. It's so cute.

I thought Portland was rebuilding when they traded Batum.

Didn't they also sign Aminu for an ungodly amount?

Rumor has it that Spurs are interested in Tayshaun Prince. Let's hope he has got something left in the tank at 35.

This is all a waste of time. Why not say that he liked all the meetings? It's not like he is going to diss a team that he may want to join in the future. I'm assuming San Antonio is confident because of their track record and readily available cap space. But there could be anything that ultimately sways Aldridge, including the thought of being loyal to the team that drafted him and the only team he has played for. As far as I can tell, if you turn down the noise, we have no idea what will be the outcome of his decision tomorrow, and won't know until he announces it. All the "he liked the meeting" or "he didn't like the meeting" crap is just to keep us clicking on the twitter feed.

Some of this from teams like PHX could be lip service to their fans. Show they're being aggressive, trying to lure FAs and barely lost out.

    Or it could be real?

Pierce is a good get for the Clips, far better than Barnes. Wonder what they do at C though.

    David Aldridge @daldridgetnt
Pierce deal is at the mini-mid level for taxpaying teams, per sources. Two years beginning at $3.3, with option for third year.
