This guy is a ing idiot. I wish I can block out reading his tweets from my mind.
My only concern is if the Spurs took their educated gamble (moving Tiago) and LMA chooses POR, how badly does this hurt Tim's chances next two years (definitely next year)?
Plus, I guess if they can't get a bigger FA, they probably pay Duncan more since it won't matter and push the cap room to next year. They definitely don't have an option to take back the Tiago trade, right ? No way ATL could put everything on hold while guys got snatched up.

thinking Phoenix is anywhere close to le contention
John Gambadoro @Gambo987
Suns have what he is looking for 1) Will still get his shots put up numbers 2) Good team that he can be centerpiece 3) Plays Power Forward
John Gambadoro @Gambo987
4) And he doesn't want to be 2nd or 3rd fiddle..Not at end of career chasing a championship. Can build towards one
One more note regarding the Splitter deal: The fact that they straight up salary dumped him to Atlanta for nothing almost certainly means that teams inquiring about him in the draft were asking for assets from the Spurs, not the other way around.
If this is true, then just like I said on the previous page, this guy is a pussy. Why is he so scared of playing a little bit of center? Sometimes, IMO, optimal lineups might be with him playing center in a small ball lineup.
Any idea how much Robin Lopez would cost? Would they have a MLE amount to spend? Maybe they can try and get him to help appease Aldridge a bit. I assume he's going to be out of the Spurs' price range though.
LOL, not idiots, just impatient.
He could pass on us for the same reason Gasol passed last year (and Webber and Malone did years ago). He doesn't want to coat-tail on a near-championship roster. He wants to win 'legitimately'.
Sometimes we can look at history as a harbinger of things to come. When LaMarcus was entering his freshman year of high school in the Dallas area back in 2000, Dirk Nowitzki had just completed his 2nd year in the league and was becoming an emerging star. Also at this time, there was a prize free agent at another Texas franchise further south. This free agent played the field and took his time coming to a decision. He toyed with the idea of joining the Orlando Magic, forming something along the lines of the Big Three we saw in Miami recently. Instead, he chose to stay at home and return to San Antonio. The key is, he didn't rush a decision. LaMarcus admires Duncan and is doing the same.
Not sure LMA is going to play for another 12-15 seasons.
Hes just wants to drive traffic into his twitter feed.
The Red Wings.
Pretty much.
John Gambadoro @Gambo987 26s26 seconds ago If Lamarcus Aldridge agreed to play in Phoenix Suns would have to do one of these 3 things to fit him into salary cap. Tweets to follow

Best option Sign and Trade in which 2 of these 3 are gone - PJ, Markieff and Marcus plus to entice Portland likely give up a pick or two
John dude comes off as a ing dumbass, tbh. Suns fans are a joke.
We're now at the point where we're analyzing this rat bas 's tweets. A decision couldn't come soon enough.
How long is Aldridge going to drag out his decision, tbh? It's 11:45 AM here and I have done zero work in the office so far. Just been refreshing SpursTalk and Twitter.![]()
I hope this Gambabaddododdodododdod dude is really tspence and is trying to over Phoenix fans this time.
Not only is Phoenix a bad choice for the reasons everyone has listed but what about their front office/ownership gives Aldridge any confidence. They ruined the Nash SSOL Suns by being cheap and just ran off their franchise guy who forced a trade to Miami. Forget Mills and Duncan, if there is a second meeting the Spurs should fly Dragic in.
Not sure of the mechanics, but if you haven't submitted the paperwork to the league office and both teams agree at a later date to not do it, I think that works.
Further, even if they notified the league, I think, again, if both parties agree to rescind the trade, then it can be.
Of course, there's always Atlanta flunking Splitter on his physical if the trade needed to be reversed.
Did they send Patty Mills in case he had to clean up Parkers mess?
Yeah, I know. That's exactly what I was getting at.
This is a very good point. And well said. However, like Duncan in 2000, the longer it draws out the more likely he stays at the place he is now. It's one of the basic recruitment rules. Time kills deals, and if he doesn't find what he's looking for out there, he's more likely to just stay with what he knows (and get paid more). The longer it goes, the better for Portland.
That said, free agency is only 24 hours old. None of us should be remotely impatient at this point.
