Didn't last long.

Sources: 76ers sending the rights of oveseas players to Kings as part of Philly wanted Stauskus and will take on Thompson/Landry salaries.
Hopefully Mitch gave Kobe the chloroform.
Kobe's lobs are somewhat different, caroms off the rim.

The Kings, after completing this trade, will have the salary-cap space to outbid Indiana for a free agent they've long coveted: Monta Ellis
Rudy Gay and Monta Ellis sharing the same ball? Shall get interesting.
Yep and we can say this all we want as fans, but in the end you know he might do it whether we deem it stupid or not. I never will get it at times but that's the way the ball bounces whether it makes sense or not.
Spurs could have used that deal to fill in the roster should/when lma and Monroe turn them down. Would have been nice to get stauskas

Omer Asik is finalizing a five-year, $60M deal to return to the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Asik is horrible, but by the time those new salaries are effective it will make sense.
Thank you, DG.
don't worry, the Kings will fire 4 coaches first
It's boggling that there are probably 5-6 competent front offices in the NBA and half of them are run by Spurs guys.

Through 7 p.m. ET, NBA teams had agreed to deals w/players in an amount surpassing $1.1 billion. And many deals will look good w/ rising cap
60 million to average 6 ppg. , the genetic lottery must be nice.
The west becoming even tougher with that free agency season...
Please elaborate ... which impact players moved from East to West?
It will be even harder to beat those top teams of the west, 2 of the top 4 with great moves already, Clippers and Grizzlies with great additions, Rockets for sure will come with somthing like usual, and you also have Warriors that even with no acquisition will get better and Thunder that should be healthy...
