    It's already a done deal.

Two year verbally agreed upon deal between Aldridge and the Spurs...My sources have confirmed this.

Either tom it's announced or from what I am hearing the third of July.

The Suns don't make any sense logically. But seeing so many reports from so many credible reporters worries me.

    1. I can't believe the Kings are already giving up on Stauskas.
    2. I can't believe they're giving up on Stauskas so they can chase Ellis, Rondo and Matthews.
    3. I should believe this cause it's the ing Kings.
George Karl was reported to want to compile as much veteran talent as he could so he could rack up his total wins and surpass Nelson's record.

Agreed. But I can't believe he couldn't get minutes because of Collison. They might as well let someone else have him.

Seeking le contender, Pacers' David West targeting Spurs and Warriors

David West is willing to put his money where his mouth is – even if he loses quite a bit of it in the process.
According to a person with knowledge of his situation, the free agent forward who declined a $12.2 million player option to stay with the Indiana Pacers next season, has serious interest in playing for the San Antonio Spurs or the Golden State Warriors. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the private nature of the free agency process.

West, the 34-year-old who was an All Star while with the New Orleans Hornets in 2008 and 2009, would have to take a veteran's minimum deal to play with the Warriors ($1.49 million annually) and would likely take a significant pay cut to play for the Spurs. But as he told WTHR's Bob Kravitz in an interview on Wednesday, he is -bent on playing for a contender.

"At this point in my career, it's all about winning," West said. "And again, I don't want to be in a position where we're just fighting to make the playoffs, I want to be in a spot where we can legitimately taste the finals."

No better way, then, than to join one of the NBA's past two champions.

The Spurs are currently in the running for free agent forward LaMarcus Aldridge, but West's team-first fabric and reliable production (11.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game last season) would be a tremendous fit.

Can you imagine a big lineup of Duncan / Aldridge / Diaw / West? We'd easily have the best front court in the NBA.

It's not the players... it's the organization.

He shot that down quick. He said he wanted to go to a contending team, and said the Knicks were nowhere near being considered a contender.

West doesn't have much left, but he would be a really solid 4th big, tbh..

Spurs may need defenders at that point, though..

No way we could get them all, but Duncan/Aldridge/West/Diaw would flat out ing bully every frontcourt. Offense overload.

Well, if West is talking contender only, he's probably looking at POR, PHX, TOR, LAL, NY, HOU, DAL, SA

Tbh he should only look at teams that have no les so it can be extra special when they win.
