Apparently following his Knicks meeting Aldridge will attend a Whyndam Timeshare Conference
You know, with Monroe and Millsap off the board, if we don't get LMA this team is basically a first round exit team for next year and not even a playoff team in the 2 after that, until Parker's contract is over.
Apparently following his Knicks meeting Aldridge will attend a Whyndam Timeshare Conference
You think he'll keep a straight face during the Knicks' presentation?
I wonder if that news about there being a second round of meetings for the top 3 teams is true.
Super random but a friend of mine is currently in Australia where he says he ran into Dwight Howard. Started small talk and Aldridge came up. Howard told him that Aldridge was SA bound and that they are good friends who had talked recently.
He meets with NY today, and most likely Portland as well. Would be a bit surprised if he makes his decision by tonight - think Friday or Saturday is more likely. People need to chill outIt's a huge decision for someone who has spent their entire career in Portland.
Anyways, hopefully NY can land Lopez and Dallas can land Matthews. Can't imagine Portland would be too enticing when 3/4 of the starters LMA played with are gone.
Woj would have reported it by now, if he thought that Gambogini guy was even half legit.
It would be funny if they mentioned winning. I bet Carmelo will have a lot of stupid stuff to say.
You can be my stoudemire..
Lol, like Parker would ever miss the playoffs. This isn't Russell Westbrook we're talking about.
This is not super random if you read the history of this thread.
If the Spurs fail in Alderidge pursuit after trading Splitter, it will be one of the all-time fails in GM history. Especially given how sportswriters have gone all in on the narrative that the Spurs have the best front office in the league.
True but not even Woj has tweeted about that Blazers assistant coach spilling the beans about Aldridge... unless I missed it.
A friend of mine thinks Lamarcus will end up in LA. But he has no sources or close friends to Aldridge.
Heard he'll likely make a decision by July 4, hopefully sooner. This was by Marc Stein on Mike and Mike.
The trade doesn't become official until after the moratorium, so the Spurs will know if they have a commitment by then.
I hope we get a decision soon from Lamarcus, as Monroe is already off the table and the Knicks are pushing hard for Robin Lopez right now. I'd love to get Lopez if Aldridge says no.
As I said, this and Manu's retirement watch has me checking the internet every 5 minutes. It's killing my productivity.
That 3 team decision looks like was not a joke after all. What a drama. Well if he needs 5 days for this decision he can talk to all 30 teams and also try some teams in Europe.
Nice. I think we have him then.
literally means figuratively now, not even joking
I'm hoping that the trade is contingent on Aldridge signing. I would think they would do something like that. Spurs are not an all-in, high risk-taking team.
Knicks sign Ellis, Bellinelli, Aldridge and Lopez

It's day 2 of free agency...
Come on. I understand we all here think it's a no-brainer because we're Spurs homers. It's not that easy of a decision. He's had one night to think about SA since the meeting. If he makes his decision by tomorrow or Saturday night, that will be pretty quick considering the magnitude of the decision.
Either Lopez is fine.
