Jesus... so does figuratively mean literally now? If not, let's make that happen.
It's not about the Spurs, it's about ATL. Imagine if a team asked the Spurs to hold off on signing all other FA's with their cap space while the other team figures out what it's doing. Then all the other FA's the Spurs could have signed with that money are gone and the other team says "oops! our plan didn't work out, we are actually keeping our guy, thanks for waiting!"
Jesus... so does figuratively mean literally now? If not, let's make that happen.
Sure but Spurs can't wait for days IMO. If Lamar doesn't decide by tomorrow morning they'll move on.
This process used to take a month. When Duncan was a free agent, they couldn't sign contracts until August. Duncan committed to the Spurs after like ten days.
This would be a tough decision if he was in talks with the Spurs, Warriors, Cavs and Grizzlies. But not when a 30 year old guy that wants to win is talking to Suns, Raptors and Knicks. I mean c'mon, its a pretty easy decision to make.
I'm worried Aldridge might choose Houston.
Brooke already agreed to terms with the Nets, I wouldn't want him anyways. I love his brother's game though, especially at half the price. And then with Lopez at say $10 million they could split the remaining $9 million of capspace between Manu and West.
No, they wont.
I mean it's been reported that he doesn't want to draw this process out, that he wants to have his decision on or before July 4th...it's not like it's already been a week or something.
If he's still undecided at this weekend's end, that's when the Spurs might start getting antsy and start more seriously pursuing some backup options.
Tim was a trolling mother er in that summer. First Orlando makes this lavish dinner for he and Grant Hill and he sends one of their executives to pick up some Wendy's bacon cheeseburgers instead. Then he tells Pop he's signing with Orlando before laughing and committing to the Spurs. I wonder how many years that took off Pop's life.
The longer this process goes, the worse it is for the spurs chances in my opinion
With Superman and The Beard on the floor, Aldridge would be the league's highest-priced decoy.
I agree.
As of this morning, the Spurs are still the favorites. Not sure what everyone is freaking out about![]()
Can't see why. It's not like he's going to pick the Knicks.
It makes perfect sense in the NBA mind.
He's from Dallas and his child lives in SA -- therefore, H-town is the perfect solution.
One of many factors contributing to Pop not giving a anymore. I remember that he called Rasho at 12:01 back in the day.
Yeah, still they have to gut a part of their team to make that work.
Living in Texas, I don't exactly understand how that's the perfect solution.
Could be that he's waiting to see if Phoenix can make the deals they have to make to afford him. And, yeah, that would be a bad sign. I would much rather that he wants to be here more than anywhere else.
That's one of the (many) reasons you'll never be an NBA player,![]()
Tbh, LMA would be a piece of if he turns down SA. Not only would he be turning down SA but in essence he would be turning down his child.
From the guy who broke LeBron to Cleveland last year when everyone had him staying in Miami.
tf outta here, Obstructed has decent hops. I mean he can dunk on DPG anyways.
I'm sure that would haunt him.![]()
