Cady Lelanne for Rookie of the Year next season
Agreed![]()
If teams were wining and dining him, I'd say he should be taking as much time as possible and enjoying it.
Aldridge isn't scheduling time at the ing water park or the club. He's having team meetings. Who the enjoys more meetings? There's a Spurs joke here somewhere.
Impression I have, it's not wining and dining. Its sitting in some hotel's sterile-ass conference room, waters in a fridge near the AV equipment, catered food, one team after another.
Coke in the bathroom.
Yeah, that doesn't sound like any ing fun.
Is his mom still with him as well? Maybe he wants mom-less meetings with the teams he's serious about.
I'd say there's a 20% chance LMA comes to PHX. The Spurs have too much of a head start in this race.
oh this is a mommy's boy??
now it all makes sense![]()
But Tyson Chandler > Tim Duncan![]()
I don't fault him for having meetings or not canceling meetings on teams that have already scheduled. But I think a second round of meetings would be a bad sign for the Spurs
ppl making this out to be a life changing decision. It's 1/2 year with a team for millions and if you don't like it you get yourself traded. He's not signing a slave contract
a real man woulda made a decision already. this mommy's boy IMO
It's a miracle the Suns would even hypothetically have that much of a shot. They make zero sense unless Aldridge might have the lowest BBIQ in the game.
No offense tbh![]()
Tim Duncan waited forever when he was a FA the first time. So by your logic Timmy isn't a real man?
Does he really still live with his mom? Uh oh, I hope she wasn't at that meeting with Parker around, tbh.
comparing free agent dealings 15 years ago to today.
Doesn't feel too hopeful at this point TBH.. I think the Suns are going to sweep in here or maybe he re-signs with Portland last minute..
Don't forget we can't talk about ****** industrial grade food mixers because of ing crying ass Glen.
None taken. Sometimes NBA players have strange motivations. The chance of a ring can take a backseat to things like "playing the 4" or familiarity with players and staff.
If he had chosen the Spurs he would of already announced imo. I think he's staying in Portland or maybe going to Houston.
It would be, but more because it signals he isn't really "Spurs" material. I get the wanting to get courted aspect during FA, but he's done that at this point. He's literally had months to figure out the financial implications of each possible destination, and the contending teams pretty much have their rosters set if he joins them (aka most teams won't be able to maneuver much once he agrees). Either he is unsure about whether he wants that 5th year money or he doesn't know what role he wants (aka does he want to be the undisputed #1 option on a PO team or 1a/1b or 2nd option on a contender).
In terms of winning, the Spurs offer the best scenario. If he wants the money then its the Blazers, if he wants to be "the man" but never truly successful its PHX. But again it speaks to his character or lack thereof if they guy can't decide on what he wants and strings along 3-4 teams.
agree. the longer it takes the less chance the Spurs have. I'd say Spurs are at 40% chance today
I think he's heading to Philly.
