We got to get lma it's in the stars
Kanter? Jordan? Whos left to fill those gaps that we can actually sign?
We got to get lma it's in the stars
LMA doesn't want to play center! Duncan is too old to play center! The only player willing to sacrifice his body to play center is Matt Bonner.
Kanter has nice moves but he's been awful defensively. One of the worst in the league and Utah got better without him.
MATT BONNER!
Lopez might help the Spurs more than Splitter or Aldridge.
Sasha Kaun, Boban Marjanovic, Bismack Biyombo, David West, Kosta Koufos...even if sign Aldridge, another big guy is a necessity
Kosta Koufos would be pretty cool.
Tell Deandre Pop will stop fouling you if you come over to the Spurs.![]()
Two low cost options I could see them pursuing in the event Aldridge does sign and they can't afford O'Quinn or someone of his caliber, are Plumlee and Freeland.
The former would require being traded for, but he's now fourth on the Bucks depth chart at C and I'd imagine they want to shed some salary/dump some bodies, so Williams' non guaranteed contract might get it done.
The latter they could just sign outright.
Get Danny's buddy.... Hansbrough. Guy will kill himself for Pop.
1. Walter Tavares
2. Tiago Splitter
I'd take West along with Kosta Koufos or Robin Lopez as Plan B.
lol - I thought the same thing. The basketball version of Tim Tebow. PERFECT
1.Jordan Hill
2.Brandon Bass
3.Bismack Biyombo
4.Glen Davis
5.Jason Maxiell
6.Kevin Seraphin
7.Thomas Robinson
8.Luis Scola
9.David West
10.Carlos Boozer
Everyone is undersized for a center position. The best player here is David West but he's like 35 years old.
The only other guy who is a legit center, but may come cheap is Javale McGee... but he's got zero IQ.
so is trading Splitter for Doofus and West even an upgrade?
That guy they drafted, is ready to go...
I think West is an upgrade. It is very curious that he opted out of his player option several weeks ago.
That's $12.5m he opted out from.... now he goes out in public to say he wants to play for either the Warriors or the Spurs. The Warriors still have zero cap space.... so maybe... just maybe is that this was Pop's play all along.
I mean, Danny Green seemed to be convinced that the Spurs are going to be getting some good pieces. I haven't seen any 'good pieces' sign yet.
