What happened to Houston's mind-blowing multimedia presentation?
Fixed.
Nobody is going to pickup Ayres.... so likely he gets the minimum just like Matt Bonner.
this will reach 200 pages![]()
Bottom line is if he is smart and tough he will come to the Spurs. If he choses another team he likely would not have been able to handle being a Spur under Pop.
Another theory, I think that in our meeting with LMA, Duncan talked about how in 2000, Orlando bent over backwards to cater to him, and gave him free gifts and stuff. That's why he dragged it out and recommended to LMA that if he is committed to the Spurs, he should do the same thing and enjoy the experience of being courted. Tbh, I'm wondering what each of the suitors is giving him.
Houston - Probably that hilarious shot chart showing how LMA almost took as many mid range shots last season as the entire Rockets team combined. In the geriatric duo of starting pg's in Terry and Prigs, no need to worry about another Lillard fiasco.
New York - Some "I heart NY" shirts, an opportunity to play center alongside Milicic 2.0 and assist master Melo. Not to mention stars across the board in Galloway, Shved, and I don't know the rest of their roster, but it's New York, so they have to be good, right? Concrete jungles where dreams are made of, there's nothing you can't do, except win.
Toronto - Maple syrup. Chance to play in the East. Canadia. Drake. Maybe lose to Washington in 5 instead of 4 in the first round.
Miami - Chance to team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and win multiple championships. Not 1, not 2, not 3... Cuban cigars and hookers. Be the first player in NBA history to earn a max contract and come off the bench.
Los Angeles - Swaggy P. Nuff said. Probably a quickie with Jeanie. Doesn't have to play center due to the dynamic duo of Hill and Sacre. Chance to impede Randle's development. Even though reports say he's sold his house in LA, he can always build a new one with Kobe's bricks.
Dallas - Cowboys jerseys. Chance to laugh watching Dirk struggle to play center. Sit out in crunch time, no pressure.
Phoenix - Your only chance to be listed and play as a point guard, furthest position from *gasp* center.
San Antonio - Whataburger #boldchickenstrips
but who plays center when TD leaves?
This is going to be another Kyle Korver thing. The deal will be in place and then his grandma will text him or some and he'll stay in Portland.
Grab someone with the cap space they have next year.
Gotta admit, it's the most entertaining SpursTalk has been in quite a while.
I doubt even the Spurs pick him up for the minimum. That experiment has failed (Thanks Boylen).
I am guessing he wanted another meeting with the Lakers so Kobe could show up again for 3 minutes and tell Aldridge how your going to be my new Gasol teammate and I'll be da man.
I think pops Mensa Bansu is still available.
Mulitinov, some new guy they bring in next season, etc... The concern is this season
that is what the FO will tell him but phoenix at least can tell him who for sure would be the C for the next two. seems fickle, i know but who knows if that is the deal breaker?
That is the saddest part in all this.... TD isn't able to mentor anyone when he leaves!!
What a colossal waste of time. What is Aldridge thinking or did his camp get a call from the Laker's apologizing for their idiocy and asking for a second meeting just to show they actually have BB IQ? My guess is Aldridge's camp asked Aldridge to meet with LA again just to look good to the media and save all the LA criticism. If it were me, I'd say yo clowns-you had your chance just like all the other teams, you weren't prepared which tells me you're not prepared for the season or to make any serious run in the near future. off.
Obviously, Aldridge can't say that-hence the meeting; although, you know damn well, it's not going to make a damn difference. I mean Kobe's a and he probably feels disrespected now and is out on the town looking for some s to take out his frustrations on. LMAO!
This is the season Ryan Richards comes over
My god, this guy have my balls full. He's a drama queen.
There's a 12 round fight going on in the "My sources say..." Thread
I absolutely love this . The draft, this, summer league. Get to see you guys and argue about things and have a good time. We get to exchange jabs with the Lakers fans and the Mavs fans. It's what sports fandom is about. And all of it is better than ing baseball.
Dope 2nd post fam
