Lived there for two years. Will never forget, I moved there on July 4th weekend and we had to bust out sweaters at night b/c it got down to the 50's with that ocean cross breeze. Awesome weather.

I understand looking at two or three options. But if Aldridge wanted to help build a championship team (here or somewhere else) he would have made his decision early enough to let the team try to put some other players around him.

I agree. I never got my hopes up with the Aldridge , but now it's starting to look like the same old we've come to expect again. If I don't wake up to an 86 page "Welcome to SA LMA" thread tomorrow morning, I've lost all hope.

My guess is Riley is trying to recruit him for 2016. We'll see if LMA signs a one-year or 1+1 deal. I imagine that both the Spurs and Suns are against giving him a short-term deal after agreeing to move pieces for him. However, I guess Riley could be trying to S&T. Would be wise for him to get something for Whiteside, as they probably won't re-sign him after this season.

Dude, what major city doesn't have traffic problems? SA is ing terrible, look at the entire NW side. They've been working on 1604 for 10 years, and it's made no progress it seems. By the time it's done, the needs to be redone again.

Good point. When I was forced to live in L.A. I did everything within ,y power the first few months when I got there to learn the back roads. I lived there when those rains happened several years ago and houses were falling- I lived there. I worked nary 3 miles from where I lived and it would take hours to get home, if I took the Wilshire, Holly, and then Mulholland. So I had to find the little neighborhoods in between (which is where I found where Nightmare On Elm was filmed) to get home.

In my years living there: never took a highway unless I was going to San Fran, or that city just north of Tijuana. All of it was backroad .

I can commiserate living in Austin all my teens and then moving one summer to San Fran and people were complaining about it being 55 in the mornings. So hot! Lol.

I laughed at them then.

Then, years later, I moved to L.A. of my own volition and stayed there for a few years before developing myself to the point to where I thought it was comfortable to go back "home".

And home punched me in the face with it' humidity the second I stepped off that plane.










humidity. I'm happy in the desert. 105 in the shade with 0 humidity is better that 85 with 80 humidity.
