Part of the problem is the Kawhi extension, Danny re-sign and Splitter trade came really fast. Then nothing.
Compared to some players like LeBron and Melo last year, this isn't "delaying" things. Jfc, some of you people are insane![]()
Dis niqqa taking us all for a ride![]()
More importantly, they said pretty early on that LMA would have answer by the end of the weekend. Last I checked, that's still two days away.
Would love for them to have an agreement with West pretty soon, though.
I'm going to go swim and run. Maybe he'll announce while I'm gone. If he does, you can thank me.
By time you get the alert from then, The signing will be 5 pgs deep in a new thread.
this is too easy, tbh...
I'm waiting for the text from Tspence.
Hope the mother er gets indigestion
that and most alternative options being signed up. ANd who knows how long West will wait for us.
Pop is probably calling his voicemail non-stop begging to get an answer
That's the timeline I initially thought of when I heard that he wasn't the type to drag this process on. Considering FA started on Wednesday and this is a massive decision, 3 or 4 days to decide isn't some ridiculous notion.
The last time, at least with Gino, it took just a few mere hours after the Spurs called him up to Bahia Blanca. It's entirely possible the Spurs are putting their focus on the FA market right now, since they know a guy like Gino is only going to come back to the Spurs and nowhere else. I also get the feeling things are going to settle down once the Spurs know what kind of money they're working with.
It notified me of Tiago and Kawhi the instant it went down. Also got notified of Stephen Jackson signing right when it happened, so no.
Eh, not really. I used to run 70-77 miles a week for a couple of years but didn't finish my best marathon time until last year, when I ran the SF marathon in 2 hours and 48 minutes and that was while I cut down my weekly mileage to the current 40-49. Besides that, now I'm just running to keep fit and have already done the NYC, BOSTON, SAN JOSE, AND SAN FRANCISCO marathons. That's enough for my compe ive days.
GTFO. Spurs need to move on. Salvage this mess.
Basically. Not that I really give a , but for s sake, our fanbase looks so ridiculous and en led right now. People losing their on Twitter because a guy hasn't made his decision by Friday when this entire process started Wednesday.
"Wow this guy hasn't decided in the first 48 hours of free agency! What a ing idiot/diva! I don't even want this piece of anymore! Move on and let's bring in David West and Jeremy Lin!"
Give me a ing break![]()
Are you talking 2013 or 2014? For both years, it wasn't just Manu, or even Manu and Tim. There was also waiting on Diaw and Mills to reup, Splitter flirting with Portland. Even though the Spurs are known for people really stable, they go through uncertainty with core players every year.
