So if LMA goes and asks Pop's questions to a bunch of other teams (which would be indicated if his questions were unusually poignant for a FA) that means he already trusts and buys into Pop. It also means Pop can simultaneously convince LMA that SA is the best fit, AND use him for some intelligence-gathering on other teams.

I don't know about "breakout" as he'll still only barely be 22 years old this season, but I am hopeful that he can be a contributor and spend most (if not all) of his time in SA as opposed to Austin.

It's all on how hard he worked during the offseason to shore up his game. I think having a taller guy who can handle the ball and run the team is going to be valuable going forward without Manu. I think the characterizations about his speed are overblown. I guess we'll find out pretty soon.
