Agree with most of this. I didn't believe Splitter or Baynes were serviceable, post Tim Duncan era. If LMA turns his ass towards the Spurs, I would be happy with West and or a lesser vet on a short contract.
damn, lots of good jokes today
I don't see any way that he comes close to making the team. I go to stanford and have watched him for four years. He's blossomed the last two years but no way is he the Spurs' answer at center unfortunately
The defensive three second rule should be the only thing making that possible. He should be able to score at will against teams on the other end if they go small.
Anderson and Lelanne on the same roster with LJC is interesting.
Do you think he's less mobile than Splitter? I know he got pretty droopy once the locker room fell apart, but I thought he was at least as agile as Tiago. He plays a lot stronger than Tiago, so if everything else was equal? I don't know... maybe I gave him too much credit. But I know he didn't give any ground in the middle, when the opponents are in a half-court offense. The Spurs have suffered on interior defense at some critical times.
Nicely done.![]()
BIG RUMOR. hahahah
that guy also said this:However, it's already been confirmed from insides sources within the Aldridge camp that he's 100% Spur. Deal was pretty much in place prior to the dumping of Splitter. Also said that Aldridge has already purchased a home in San Antonio.
I was hoping he'd be good for a roster spot at the end of the bench
That team is so payroll heavy it's gonna be a joke
Good a guess as any. I love that Pop brought the whole coaching staff to answer any and all questions LMA might have. Wonder if Messina was back in Europe when Pop asked him to go to LA. Anywhere in Europe to LA is a long ass flight...
Jeff Ayres can confirm that's a thankless ing job.
He still managed to that up
Case in point.
I want that hat
Aldridge could have just purchased a house for his kid to live in, that's not that ig of a deal no matter where Aldridge ends up.
Who the is the head on the right?
Probably some random dude from the club who wanted a picture
Unfortunately, he's pretty bad about using his size on offense. He's great using his size on D but has never really figured out how to do it at the other end.
