There was a blip on the radar a few days ago of us having interest in Quincy Acy, but he outplayed his previous contract so he may be out of reach.
Who is Biyombo tbh?Never heard of the name until this thread. Who did he play for?

Damn I was close
I would like Okafor. He has always been a solid defender, rebounder and high character guy. He's coming off an injury so he might take a discount to sign.
He blew up at the Nike Hoop Summit a few years ago, he was extremely impressive in that game and shot up to the head of a very weak draft (8 slots ahead of Kawhi).
CoJo is gone except if he takes room exception - needs to be renounced to make room for LMA. So no S&T possible with him really.
Any stashed player ?
Let's get Larry Sanders from the Drew League and have a psychiatrist on him 24/7 as part of his deal.
Whoa really?! David West is a great defender and his mid-range jumpers are automatic to this day, his game is pretty much plug and play in Spurs motion offense. For some reason I picture Brandon Bass like Marco Belinelli running around aimlessly not knowing where to go.
I had forgotten all about Okafor, what with him being gone for so long. He would be a great fit IMO.
Athletic freak of nature. Very, very raw. (At a pre-draft workout, one of the writers said he had just played a game of one-on-one... and lost.) Had very little experience, but still had people slobbering all over him. I was pretty much the only one who didn't believe that he would be drafted that high. I was wrong about the draft, but not about the player. He never developed a feel for the game, and he actually got worse over time. He's NOT a roster player for the Spurs for next season. Write it down, not happening. He's just 22, and someone could makate a project out of him. But the Spurs are looking for pieces to go for #6. Biyombo isn't one of them.
He couldn't get time in front of 6'6", worn out Jason Maxiell, if that gives you any idea.
Biyombo going to Toronto on a 2 yr deal I think
trade philly for jason thompson ?
he's just gonna rot there
Wouldn't mind this at all if they can get him, tbh..
I know the Spurs are working with minimal space, but please no to Boozer, Prince and Butler..
I'm all for West and Stoudamire. I draw the line at Boozer.
Spurs sign Boozer and you can erase all thoughts of a championship.
Sign Boozer and you can just schedule team chemotherapy. He's a cancer. And, unlike the players that the Spurs usually bring in, he wouldn't understand his role. Sooner or later, Boozer would find a way to about not getting enough minutes/touches.
Boozer can still play some ball, but I really don't like him. He's always been about Carlos Boozer.
Meh, Butler sucks but he can at least hit 3s (shooting 39% over the past 3 years). I'd be fine with getting him for the minimum as long as Pop doesn't try to force him into the rotation and play him noticeable minutes. It'd be disastrous if they tried playing him as much as Belinelli, but if they just used him for spot minutes and insurance in the case of someone getting injured, Butler wouldn't be the end of the world.
Boozer on the other hand...absolutely ing not![]()
Spurs are finally going to sign Greg Oden.![]()
I'd probably be fine with any of West, Seraphin, O'Quinn and Bass, tbh..even Jason Smith would be OK..
West is by far the best offensive option, but he's been declining on defense, as expected(old and undersized)..
Bass has poor on/off metrics, which concerns me, but I'm encouraged by how he looked in Boston's system, last year..
O'Quinn hasn't received enough minutes to really judge him, so it would be a flier..
Seraphin is a nice defensive player IIRC and he can score, but he's not a good spot-up shooter IIRC..
