Great move by the Lakers. I legitimately fear them now. Hibbert is a 7'4" MONSTER, who averages a devastating 7 boards a game and can't be stopped in the post, averaging 10 points on .44% shooting. He's also a defensive beast, as Kool said, averaging 1.6 blocks on a 101 defensive rating.

Goddamn! Just when I was feeling good about snagging LMA, the Lakers go and outdo us, per par.

Congrats, Lakers fan. Back in the hunt!
If Kirby can't win with this, even Lakerfan has to admit that his legacy is stained.

You're short sighted because you're happy you got LMA..wait till the season starts and teams are in the paint at will on you..it will all make sense then..right now i fully expect you to be caught up in the moment....
You posted 20 minutes ago that you hoped Hibbert wouldn't happen but now are lauding his post defense. Absurd.

Man I hope we dont do this...lets give Upshaw chance..if we trade only for Nick Young then ok....but if they give up any of our young core..Russell, Randle, Brown, Clarkson, Nance, or Upshaw..I will be officially sick....I'm ok with the youth movement...Hibbert is a bad fit if it means any of the players I just named.....

Dont Do It Mitch..unless its for Nick Young and Sacre

This is actually a solid move. With the Lakers current situation, less is more. LMA wouldn't make them any better. Hubert fits in nicely with the Lakers future. He's younger and will cost cheaper.

He's a 1 year expiring contract. There's virtually no risk. I don't think he's that awful. His confidence was shot. He needed a change of scenery. Playing for a team with no expectation is the best scenario for him.

Be careful or else Spur fan gonna pull out their little peckers and start to choke with 2 fingers if you say anything remotely positive for the Lakers...

You don't trade away picks when you aren't a contending team. Lol Fredo
