Not really cavs will cakewalk their way to the finals while the west has three teams with a shot. Because they are for sure going to be there they should be the easy favorite
I thought the top 16 teams will all be seeded equally?

There is only 1 legit team in the East and about 3 or 4 in the West.
There is no parity in the NBA.
Cavs will come healthy and with a vengeance. Plus the rest of the East is .

Cavs are easily the favorites due to playing in the East, obviously..when your 2 biggest challengers are the Hawks and Bucks, those are the odds you get..
OK, but what if the West has 10 playoff teams and the East has 6? What if the top three teams are all from the West? Then what?

It's still 8/8 teams from each conference, and conference seeding 1-8 based on record. They're just getting rid of division championship guaranteeing a top 4 seed.
