Three spots left. One for a vet PG who can run an offense and who can stand sitting on the bench most nights. One for a wing who's looking to rebuild his career. And one for a young seven-footer who has long-term potential with the team.

I don't think they'll cut LaLanne unless he both sucks and is insistent on staying over. They seem really excited by him. Bonner may be back as the sixth big, but I hope not.

Yeah, Milutinov or LaLanne would add some nice youth to our bigs.

Aldridge is going to be shooting way more 3s this season IMO, based on comments he has made about making it the next step in his evolution..

I think we'll see a lot less of Leonard being a spot-up shooter like he often was with Duncan/Splitter clogging the lane(his offense usually improved significantly with Diaw on the floor)..

Well, sure, but we're going to see a lot of new sets for the middle part of the floor.

If we want the Timmy that showed up against the Clippers (18pts/11reb) in the PO next year, there is no way you are going to run him into the ground like in like the brutal December of last year, he will be 40 by next April...This is a tremendous signing in that regard..My guess TD will be around 25/26 mins this upcoming campaign..

LJC is a 3? I thought people were saying his best chance was at 4?

I think he's currently best suited for small-ball four. But I don't think the Spurs look at the third-string SF spot as one that LJC can't hold this season. He has the body for it, and he's possibly the third-best perimeter defender on the roster.

Certainly possible, but I don't think he has a defined role on the team anymore. Too many guys who can shoot and who are already on the roster.

At best LaLanne is in street clothes behind the bench. Bonner will be added once they figure everything else out.

Spurs still need a vet guard to help limit Manu's minutes.

It is refreshing to see a player like West walk the talk. Said what he meant. Too often players talk about wanting to win at all costs and often we have seen them associated with coming here only to bail and sign for money elsewhere.

He really put his money where his mouth is. He's giving up at least $5 million after taxes.

I just hope they go out and get a legitimate center. As great as this offseason has been, I still feel a little uneasy about the idea of Duncan being the only guy who can really go up against guys like Dwight/Marc/DJ/Asik/etc. Aldrich or Withey would be perfect for that.

Yeah, I'd prefer Withey (if you haven't heard me talking about him enough recently), as they could sign him to a one-year deal and still have RFA rights on him.

Yeah some of them are decent, some of tehm are trying to delude themselves that 40y year old duncan won't kick Howards ass and some of them are just bat crazy
