I only know David West is under sized and never missed jumpers against the spurs.
How's his basketball IQ?
defense?
What's some more info on this guy other than he was a spurs killer esp in 2008
I can imagine the roar of the crowd when LMA is introduced in the starting lineup and when West enters the game.
They'll hear the appreciation.

Until just now, I hadn't realized it was Solid D who had claimed the Kawhi Leonard twitter handle:
He's a smart veteran who you can count on to always give his 100% effort. He's not an elite defender by any means, but I'd say he's above average. He was a main piece on an Indiana team that consistently ranked at the top of the league defensively, even this past year when they were missing Paul George. He's a solid defensive rebounder for his position.
His mid-range game is definitely what excites me the most though. He shot over 50% from 16-23 feet last year...that's Dirk-esque (ignoring the difference in volume, of course). Saw someone else mention Manu/David West pick-n-pops...should be a really nice wrinkle to the offense.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

with west on the team will pop have to play the soft card?
The two things I remember about David West are...
1) He was a nightmare in that New Orleans series in 2008
2) He was the only who kept his cool when Indiana was having that strange meltdown at the end of 2014
Stuck in a meeting and just saw the news. This is f'ing crazy.

What's interesting is MIA really struggled offensively when they formed the Heatles, but their quick defensive rapport allowed them to win.
I wonder what we see with SA's offense first half of the year.
it is absolutely amazing what the spurs front office has accomplished since they started drinking 5-hour-energy.
Can't afford Aaron Baynes anymore? No prob, sign David West for minimum. Unreal!
haha. We do need another center...
Probably not new, but i didnīt know it:
