He played at Xavier in Ohio which is why some thought he might go to the Cavs. But he's orig from the east coast (NC or something).
Glad to have him aboard. Didn't know much about West off the court before today, but all the things I've read make me wish he was a Spur earlier. I wish I could listen in on some of the convos he'll no doubt have with Pop and Tim.

He's gonna be a joy to watch in the playoffs next year, too as he'll play with a fiery determination to get a ring. I see him making several hustle plays for us.

Amazing signing. Exactly what the Spurs needed up front. A smart, skilled, tough as nails enforcer who just wants to win. Can't believe the front court the Spurs now have.
He used to torch us when he was with CP3 in Nawlins'. Always been a fan of his midrange game.

Plenty of plays but in the sweeper vs Memphis there was a long rim rebound that West had no chance to get straight up, so he hustles to get position and tips it out to one of the guards by halfcourt. Kinda stuff that may not show up on the stat sheet but....
Embodies what being a Real Spur is all about.
