Rap music tries too hard to sell young and black and horny and boo authority. It appears the target audience is young black boys. So by 30 you wonder how you ever listened to that stuff. And unlike the good music that takes you back to a certain event or time, all that stuff does is remind you of how little you knew about things back then.
