Does anyone have insight into the Patty Mills situation? We all know this team has to have him with the departures of Belli and Joseph. Is it realistic the Spurs can afford him? Everyone seems tight lipped on the subject.

He was with the entourage in recruiting Aldridge... that should tell you what the Spurs plan to do with him.
I have seen nothing to indicate Spurs plan on trading him. He is under contract so barring a trade he's not going anywhere
He's in the H E B commercials so he's staying. Will Aldridge and West be in those commercials?

Depends on how much Manu is paid. If Manu takes the minimum, Patty stays. I imagine Manu is doing just that. Very generous and a steal given what Manu brings. Better not be a bunch of idiots bad mouthing him this year given he'll be playing for peanuts.
He's not talked about because he is under contract and the Spurs have given no indication they are trying to move him. IOW, the status quo is Patty stays.
To be clear, if Manu gets more than min, then Spurs will have to salary dump Mills to have room for LMA.

Manu can have the RE since West took the min right? We were only under the assumption that manu needed to take the min because a lot believed west wouldve costed us the RE

Why would Mills not be staying? He's under contract, he's healthy, he's young, he's familiar with the system, and the position the Spurs are thinnest at is PG. Granted, he's an SG in a PG's body/combo guard, but still, it makes no sense to trade him unless something extraordinary comes along.
