I know he likes to shoot from mid-range and 3P, but it's the post-up game I'm anxious to see. The Spurs need more of a steady dose of that, to get the 3P shooters the kind of open looks they were getting a few years ago. Losing Beli is a bit of a blow, but the Spurs still have a good stable of 3P shooters. , Parker was lights out from 3 until the post-season.
Aldridge and West together are a mid-range nightmare that will open the paint up for some easy buckets. I'm expecting to see the Spurs' FT attempts to increase, both because they'll be fouling LMA, but also because they won't be able to pack the paint and be waiting so much.
I hope Aldridge isn't really going to be shooting a LOT more 3's, like the video says. I know he was pretty good last season, but hopefully that's not what he's here for.

LMA would have won in 2013 and 2014 and 2015 in a spurs uniform. The team defense helped tiago a bunch. Defenders better than tiago: kawhi duncan green. Splitter in 2015 was a ing vagina and an injured vagina for the playoffs. Dude was a corpse.

Aldridge was the MVP of the series. Not even close. Averaged double double 20/10. That's with spurs team help focused on him all series.
Splitter averaged like 7/6 I think.
We just swapped Splitter for Aldridge AND West. People need to stop whining about it. Splitter was awkward to watch often. At times he was good. Aldridge will always be good and West is paying $11 million to play here. Stop the Splitter whining and get a sense of humor. That hook shot of his was the worst I've ever seen, and was appropriately mentioned in the video.
We swapped splitter for aldrige, and baynes for David west. Both upgrades.
Belli and cojo gone, but had nothing to do with signing. We wouldn't have paid them that much to be third stringers. Would have lost them either way.
