    Agreed, we would have stormed through the PO for him, too bad he wasn´t "over himself" to realise that as a Star he can never win a championship, but he would have as a Spur player.

    He chose the spotlight and lost.

    LMA (younger) > Gasol for the future of the Spurs. But the Clipper series was lost because Pop played Parker too much and Mills too little - not because of the big man position.

    I'd take LMA in his prime versus Pau on the backend of his career. This offseason makes the Spurs a top contender for the next three years.

    True. Pau is probably better in the moments, but he is older. Having Aldridge will make the post-duncan era easier to adapt to. Heck maybe Aldridge can build his own legacy right in San Antonio. Pau was of similar age when he had his playoff moments.
