He's actually meeting with them today, so I'd bet he going back to LA. What's he gonna say? "Oh, yeah...I'm sure I don't wanna come back here now that we've gone through all this trouble of meeting"
Wasn't Mark Cuban Fined 25K for openly discussing Deandre deal?

Refresh me on what he did again?
This demoralizes both clubs, imo. I hate both, so, I'm hoping it does at least. It does make Jordan look weak, kind of like him walking up to the free throw line to shoot.
Boozer went to Utah and dissed Lebron. What's wrong with that??
this is unreal
hahahahahahaha
lousy clippers, just got a center, will yah, and move on
I hope pierce leaves them now.
the clippers are going to be the lowest dogs of the heap,,
sorry, wrong word
i meant....."just get a center......"
If he goes back, we get splitter back right? That's how this works?
Boozer was under contract to Cleveland. He had a team option on his last year. Cleveland agreed not to exercise the option, so they could re-sign him to a new deal. Both sides agreed to this in advance. When Cleveland let him out of the contract, instead of signing a new one with them as agreed, he signed with Utah.
In short, AT BEST, he broke his word and suckered Cleveland. At worst, he lied to get out of his contract, then broke his word and suckered Cleveland.

The Clippers are now "hopeful" that DeAndre will return, I'm told

ESPN sources say Mavericks owner Mark Cuban arrived in Houston earlier today as Dallas tries to fend off the Clippers' 11th hour push
He's like the cheating husband whose wife takes him back, not because she loves him, but because he's beneficial to her.
In effect, the L.A. Clippers have become Hillary Clinton.
was gonna type out what boozer did but glad bill was able to do it more succinctly than i would've been able to.
The deal is, Jordan may have wised up and realized he's not going to get the lobs and looks in Dallas like he got in LA with CP3.
May be more like LOL MAVS...
Hate to defend Boozer but this is his version:
"There was no commitment, no handshake," Boozer insisted this
week, stating correctly that it would have been illegal under the
collective bargaining agreement. "I'm a man of my word, and the
only commitment I gave was to Utah, and I kept that commitment."
Also let's not forget Utah was offering $27 million more
this is nothing like the Boozer situation
This would be an all time dumb move. The Clips are a better team than the Mavs, but Chris Paul is a pretty awful teammate by most all reports and Jordan has a better chance of hitting his basketball ceiling going with the Mavs. Paul plays mind games with his teammates, Dirk is a true franchise player.
I don't think Jordan has a high offensive ceiling, but he will never know should he stay with the Clippers. Also, Cuban is going to go nuclear and be super vindictive. The Clippers have nothing to complain about should he leave because he was making the best decision for himself. The Mavs will have every reason to be pissed because this changed their approach to other free agents.
Spot On!!!
Are you saying Mark Cuban is Monica Lewinsky?![]()
The "unwritten rules" in sports rely on respect and integrity. All one has to do is watch ESPN on a nightly basis to see how rare those two things are in professional sports nowadays.
