He said all those bad things about playing with CP0 and now he's going to go back and play with him.

[QUOTE=illmatic;8103152]Remember, it was nip & tuck for days. He'd reject the Suns, I'd be kind to Girl. He'd change his mind, I'd beat her. He'd warm up to the Nugs, I'd get a dozen at the florist, and hand them to Girl. He'd lean back toward the Suns, I'd try to return the bouquet.
Good memories, ill. Good days. What's the circa? I can't recall off the top of my head.
I do. Im just saying that when you are talking what does it matter if you begged, suck etc. Our begging doesnt preclude us from making fun of anyone else begging was my point. I wasn't defending him ...
Deeps knows that, Killa. He's just a sorehead that can't take it.
You had every right.
[QUOTE=Thread;8103164]1999. McDyess was foolish then, he later regretted his decision. It would've been nice to see Kidd and McDyess grow together in their career.
[QUOTE=illmatic;8103176]
Yep, he did. But, he was kind of slow and not a sharp cookie.
Seems like a lifetime ago. I was on pins and needles the whole gd way. Moody one minute, whistlin' the next. The kids were still around then. "Do your chores!" one minute..."Let's go celebrate." the next.
At least we got lottery picks when we sucked. There is literally nothing to look forward to with a second round treadmill team.
Dude is a basketcase. Will never show up when it matters.
Most likely scenario
Yep, I still remember that. It was during the lockout year, so free agency was in January and they got caught in a snowstorm trying to get to the arena before he signed with the Nuggets.I was just a kid then and was so disappointed with McDyess. Then we got stuck with Tom Gugliotta and Luc Longley instead.
Let's hope Brandon Knight doesn't work out like Googs did.
Yeah, Jer is right, and you signed the "Googs" out from under us. And he had that thorn tattoo on his upper arm that ended up being all show and no go and the guys over at Sose's Joint just crucified him over it.
Good times.
Dallas is like that girl cousin we all have. Cute but somehow always ends up used and dumped.![]()
Lord knows how much money Doc is paying these media shills (Shelburne, Berger mostly) to tell the DJ story his way. Blame the Mavs, blame Cuban/Fegan, blame Parsons "tampering", etc.
Not sure how Parsons can be charged with tampering he can just say it was all friendship. But Cubes can be fined again I am sure ...
Yep, the Parsons thing is bull since he did the same thing with Dwight a couple years back and didn't get called out for it. Also, the "DJ called Doc first" bull is clearly Doc putting the words into Ramona's mouth.
The only thing that's probably true is DJ's agent wanted the Mavs more than DJ did.

heard some of that talk on Ben & Skin ...that Cubes and Fegan are super tight. But I think a agent does a disservice if they pressure or push someone to a team or situation they don't truly want. I Agree the fault lies on Jordan more than anyone else ... but this type of dealing is rarely done because someday the Clips may want or need something from the Mavs and I would not blame Cubes for holding a grudge on this.I also think should get rid of this stupid moratorium and allow deals 48-72 hrs. after the Finals.
DAJ made a commitment to the Mavs. Throwing his agent under the bus is weak, cowardly . Going back on his commitment and wrecking the Mavs' ability to field a roster after other FAs made their decisions is de able.
Honestly, I don't want him at this point. I'll take finishing 11th in the West with honor.
Fine, but, I want the gd blindfold, Fin. You ain't standin' there blind, by God.
