Z-Bo either has to check Tim or LMA (instead of hiding on Robin Lopez) & he can't check either 1-on-1 on an island when they are HEALTHY. On defense, pack the paint & force them to beat you from outside. Otherwise, there is always D-West to sumo-wrestle w/ Z-Bo, even Diaw/Bonner had success against past-prime Z-Bo in the postseason (2013).

Pack the paint... until the grizzlies wise up and realize they don't need Tony Allen in the game to guard Danny Green and instead use Lee and Carter as their swingmen, with the occasional Matt Barnes sighting. With a Lee/Carter/Conley or Udrih backcourt complementing the twin towers you can't really pack the paint IMO.

I don't worry about the Pelicans. They have a ty team built around a star that's good but not dominant and occupying a historically enormous chunk of their cap space. They'll likely win 45 and be the 7-8 seed again.

I'll admit, the Pelicans supporting cast for Davis is gross. they should trade Gordon and Holiday. Maybe they could pull off Deron Williams and Joe Johnson?

Tiago also had Tim backing him up in the paint thus LMA was essentially playing 2-on-1 since Lopez was just there to crash the offensive board. It takes a mobile big & a rim protector to handle LMA.

Once again, that's a non-issue for the Grizzlies as Leonard really isn't a force in the halfcourt offense. Jeff Green will probably be traded, given their surplus at that position. Memphis could use a backup big man with the loss of Koufos.
