Crazy. I may have to drop a few bucks on the Spurs now before the season gets rolling and they move into that top spot at something closer to 3-1
That's just because the Cavs play in the ECF. The only team that is going to challenge them is the Bulls. If the Cavs were in the WCF, they would be behind GS and SAS.
Out West, OKC, Hou, GS, SAS, LAC, and Mem all would have a legitimate shot of beating the Cavs in the playoff. 1 elite playoff team (Bulls) compare to 6 out West.
Its always gonna be the cavs due to the lEast

I agree, but that goes without saying, they pretty much are the only ECF that can at least challenge the Cavs at this point. I think LAC, MEM, GS, OKC, SAS are all better when healthy.

Odds are right - Dubs, OKC, Cavs are all going to be tough next year. And we are very old.
Spurs depend on too many old-ass players to be the full favorite. No surprise.

Very solid all around. Championship pedigree. I like them over the other East teams that aren't Cleveland. If they get to the playoffs healthy, they can make some noise.
I think they screwed up by trading knight for mcw though. I hope Jabari can get healthy and prove that he's better than wiggins.
They'll be doing great to finish in the 4 spot come playoff time. And I don't trust them to be healthy, especially Wade.
And then they'll probably face the Cavs in the second round and give them . They're a team that needs to pace themselves.

Exactly my thoughts. Why does everyone continue to put the Bulls on a pedestal? Thibs is gone now too, how are they viewed as contenders again? Beating after beating from Lebron James and still feared.
I really believe that if healthy, the Heat have the best shot a taking down the Cavs. Wade seems to become a superhuman or something when facing Lebron.
Cavs would be favorite or cofavorites regardless of conference. That starting lineup went 33-3 to end the season when they all played together and they still stole two games from the gay little warriors without their second and third best players, who needed veteran iggy to save them.
