And the Lakers have a SG worth about $6.4m and he's making $25m
Kirby isn't even worth 64¢, let alone $6.4 million

    I don't do legacy.

    It's my religion.
Wise move. Role players like your Bryant are incapable of "doing" legacy.

    tee, hee.

You've nary room. Your Bryant has had the entire Foot Locker corporate headquarters built in his ass over the past few years.

Kirby's contract is the gift that keeps giving, tbh.

Please kirby, stay healthy next year so you can continue your slow destruction of the lolakers and force them to give you another max contract.

Because what Tammy is doing is called pros ution..like Phil said..he's not winning by being a leader and playing the game the right way...instead he's hiding behind the skirts,of younger players and trying to make himself look good with all this I'm gonna take less bull ...the,dude is a farce...and he's bad business for the league and other pplayers...he hurts the integrity of the game thats why when he loses it will be a total delight....be a man get your money and play the game the right way....all this taking a pay cut crap so people can right good articles about you is ridiculous especially considering how he still gets no respect after he wins a le...he still cant get big endorsement deals and his Jersey sales are like 10th even after winning a le..what a Joke

Best center in the league the last 3 years, tbh...it's a joke to think Aron Baynes is gonna make more then Tim, buts it a testament to how much Tim wants to win, he's one of a kind.

Ring chaser---whether it's the sphincter ring, or, NBA. That's Tim Duncan.

That's neither here nor there. Duncan has lost in excess of $48.5 million.
Typical Los Angelino. Focus on what you don't have even when what you have is fantastic. Take a Laker fan...Live in an area with some of the best weather in the world, yet still focus on not having a playoff level NBA team...

They're right to feel put upon. They're cheering for an asshole who lost $25 million. Don't you know, it's indefensible.

This deal is crazy considering Duncan last season was worth around 14-15 million based on his production which becomes 16-17 million on this year's cap. Ridiculous.

I can understand DWest making the minimum since he was an average player at best last year, but Duncan still plays close to an elite level including better than the guy 9 year's younger who just got 20+ million per season on his team.

Winning a 6th ring (or maybe even a 7th as well) is worth all the money he gives up, tbh.

I know, but, he didn't. He took the losses. Couple that with the lump of $25 million and Duncan is out more than $48.5 million.
For one, Duncan will recoup his assets when the Gov't seizes all the assets from his Financial Advisor. It's very hard to hide assets nowadays. And the guy is going to jail for 10 to 15 years. Was it worth it.

Yes, Gov't will also probably give Duncan a sizeable chunk back as a bailout. There is a reason he isn't sweating it. He will probably get back close to 70 to 80% back what he lost.

Why? Winning a ring is only good if you know how to market / capitalize off it...to boost your earning potential...this apparently has no clue what that means..he wins a le and follows that up with no endorsements..he wins a le and his jersey sales plummett..he wins a and the only ones to slurp his gay are shills at ESPN and Spur fan....

So you think it good move to sell your championship ring for money, like MWP did? Duncan doesn't spend his money lavishly like most s do, so he doesn't really need to exploit every possible resource to make money imho. On the other hand, a stupid would go broke anyway no matter how much $ he's earned as a player.

It's impressive, impeccable, even. He's definitely worth more, but he wants to win a 6th more than have more money.

He will never see a player like Tim ever again.
