So Presti is willing to sign Kanter to a max contract but he wasn't willing to sign James Harden to a max contract?

Most overrated GM is NBA history.
Yep. Funny how no analysts have mentioned this yet.. Maybe Jalen Rose will be the first to say something on Grantland. The worst trade in recent memory.

Probably more the owner. Would have been far better had presti said " you" pay the tax for harden or I quit, but there's always jobs in the nba for yes men. Now the cap rise has made owners giddy. They know they're printing money. Okc losing harden doesn't jeopardize team popularity. Nope, you only need two stars to sell tickets.

Now? Once Durant walks, okc needs some semblance of a plan or they become a small market disaster. Maybe they sell Durant on kanter and he stays. It's okc on life support. Can't cheap out.

It is ridiculous. This could be an albatross moving forward. It could wind up like an Alan Houston type deal if he can't come back healthy. Just seeming like he's getting paid 20 mil a year in perpetuity for nothing.

The well has dried up. Spurs need to get creative. Need to get someone out of nowhere like Baynes.

Larry Sanders wants to comeback. Why not take a shot on him. Yes, he's mental, but the Spurs have the veterans to guide him. The Bucks didn't.

Character issue with the guy and Spurs don't have the patience or the time to deal with that. Would love it even if it was for half a season.

There are some names out there.. even some Euro guys they might have a line on but the longer it takes the more and more I'm fearing its a Delfino or bust acquisition

What's the deal with the Reggie Williams' contract, is it non-guaranteed? If so when does it become fully guaranteed? Seems like it would be a nice chip to trade to OKC for Perry Jones, for example.

To compound the problem, Kyle Anderson has been disappointing in Summer League. What this mean is, not only does the team not have a center, the team has no decent backup to Leonard.

    Luke Babbitt is the solution
