What an asshole, forcing Bowen to unretire his number, Spurs allowing LMA to do what ever he wants again...

"Spurs general manager R.C. Buford called Bowen, an ESPN analyst, to ask about giving up his retired number to Aldridge,"

"Bowen immediately agreed, according to the Express-News.
"You want LaMarcus to feel part of the family," Bowen told the Express-News. "If I can have a hand in that, shoot, why not? I don't play anymore."

But shoot, let's spin it into something else.

Of course he's going to say that. What Lamarcus wants is happening , Duncan not getting paid, popovich backpedaling, stealing Bruce's number , what else?

Like Duncan, Bowen is all for the Spurs.

Have you not seem him on ESPN? He gives the Spurs free blowjobs everytime they talk about them.

A role player got his number retired? That's almost "Mavs retiring Brad Davis" level of pathetic. Seems unbecoming of an organization like the Spurs.

Don't know whats more pathetic, that Bowen's number is retired or Spurs letting Aldridge do whatever the he wants. He might as well have a turn with Amy.

Lakers fans probably don't understand what team spirit means after having Kobe as their franchise player for so long tbh. Bruce, even when he was still playing, sacrificed a lot personally for the good of his team. Dude did the dirtiest work on court while getting the smallest salary of the starting five. It's like donating an organ after one's demise and I think that's a behavior that is worth respect and applause, rather than making fun of. He let LMA wear his number and let the #12 legend continue, so why not? You never heard Manchester United have ever considered retiring their #7, tbh.

Bowens jersey retirement was quite questionable. If it was a more important number like Robinson or even ****** yeah that would be a move.

Who said anything about hypocrisy? It's simple obsession.
