When is the next lock-out? Next summer? If so, the one year deal might be that way to make it easier to play oversees during what could be a lost season.

If that isn't for 2 more years, then he will still be restricted I think and within spurs control
    No, 2017.

Interesting. Based on game footage, he is clearly faster than Kyle Anderson.
Way to go out on a limb there.

The question is how sturdy is the guy. These 7 footers are scary man. All that weight on those ankles and knees. In Europe the play once a week? Here its really a grind.
He was very healthy this year, played almost 60 games, which is most of them (if not close to all)

He stepped his minutes up in euroleague, but is probably best capped at 20 mpg in NBA. Won't be a problem on the spurs, he'll play less

Valid point, but it's not like he's going to be playing many minutes at all over here. Would be shocked if he played much over 10 mpg this season.

This offseason is so incredible it makes me wonder if PATFO have just been getting drunk and playing backgammon for the past 10 summers.

Yeah, not a lot of longevity... but he does look pretty lean though.

He is useful against the likes of Adams, Bogut, Gasol, Hilbert. Got to keep Duncans legs fresh.

It makes me ecstatic to see that he dunks.
Yeah. And while his footspeed isn't great, his hand eye coordination looks pretty good.

interesting acquisition. Defense looks shaky but that probably won't be an issue considering he'll be playing limited minutes on the bench.

why do we always get the ugliest dudes?

splitter was a calvin klein model in comparison

maybe if he's ugly enough he won't be afraid to play like a mean dog. no good looks to protect
What do you care do you plan on ing him?

You sound like such an expert. Thank you for your input. I wasn't sure how he'd fit having not stepped foot in the nba. But, now I feel at ease. GSG!!!

A guy that is 7'4 and a 7'8" WINGSPAN. I hard think so. Look at some of his highlights were guards are blowing by him BUT BECAUSE OF HIS LENGTH he blocks or alters their shot at the rim. This guy is like Eaton 2.0 but with Yao's offensive move set.
