I now i am asking a lot here, and considering the cap jump next year it really doesnt have a lot of sense, but it would have been great if Aldridge left 4 millions on the table (80 instead of 84 millions) so that the Spurs could secure one more signing.
Also as a gesture that he embraces the Spurs culture fully, i expected the same from Leonard. It seems that the likes of Leonard and Aldridge doesn´t fully understand what it takes to win it all the way Duncan, Ginobili and now Green Do.

Spurs aren't un-retiring Bowen's jersey. I'm sure it will still be hanging in the rafters. They are just allowing Aldridge to wear the number, so IF he were to be retired one day (which we are still a very, VERY long way away from really discussing) then they would retire 12 a second time.
