He averages less than a block per game playing 28mpg
BUT averaged 11 rebounds and wasn't a foul machine at only 1.5 per game

He's pretty ripped but has a slender enough frame not to move like a refrigerator

He also might be the ugliest post-Cassell NBA player

Never heard of this guy, but my initial thoughts are:

Decent speed for a 7'4 guy running end to end

    Decent touch on close shots

    Almost no block highlights

Seems to know where to be on offense

Assisted on basically 100% of his attempts
Is he a free agent? Was he undrafted?

His latest stats look like he's improved almost every year. I say bring him in, just to put a body on the West big centers.

If we do sign him, finding random google image search results for him will be even funner than it was for Tiago

The amount of cancerous, sulking losers in that squad is pretty high..Wish Belli chose another team, but it looks he wants his money...

Ferrari finally got his ring so now his only remaining need is to retire with a fat bank account.

Riley going all-in on low-risk/high-reward moves, tbh..

You have to give him credit though...that team is looking pretty solid now.

    Dragic/Chalmers
    Wade/Winslow
    Deng/Gerald Green
    Bosh/McRoberts
    Whiteside/Amar'e

Not gonna call them contenders or anything, but considering they just lost LeBron a year ago, they've recovered pretty well.

And they're in the east so that's at least a 6th seed

    ^^Oh, I agree, I wasn't criticizing him..

That team is stacked, on paper..too bad Wade will miss 30 games and Deng is a terrible fit on a team trying to win a le..

Their bench looks surprisingly good, too..wouldn't be surprised if they climb in the top 3..

The East finally had a good off-season with the Hornets, Pacers, Heat, Bucks and Knicks all improving on paper(no teams noticeably declined, too IIRC)..maybe it won't be as atrocious as usual..

Yeah. Would think they'd have a shot at Top 4 in the East.

Caron Butler heard the Jonathan Simmons news and said it, and just signed with the Kings. Heartbroken that the Spurs didn't want him, tbh

Yeah they could either be really great, or incredibly mediocre. Wade's health is a huge question mark. Bosh will be coming back from blood clots in his lungs and there's no telling how that will affect him going forward. I'm not sure if Whiteside's play year was a fluke, or if he's legitimately that good. McRoberts was pretty solid in Charlotte a year ago, but he missed basically all of last year. Don't know if Gerald Green will play like he did last year, or closer to his 2014 level.

If things go their way, they could be the 2nd seed in the East. If not, they could be really underwhelming given what their roster looks like on paper.

I think Gerald Green signed there mainly because of Goran Dragic. I haven't seen anyone really bring up that point. Wasn't Gerald's best year in the NBA the 2014 season when Dragic was the main PG in Phoenix, if so, that makes sense to me on why he signed for the minimum there. If he plays well again, this could really set him up for a bigger contract next off-season. I think he's probably comfortable playing with Dragic. Also, if Riley can team him to play decent defense, then he really could be up for a much bigger pay day next off-season.

The other bonus would be that if Wade needs time/games off, then he'd get even more court time. Seems like a pretty good deal for him even though it's the minimum salary wise, everything else seems like a good fit for him there.
