Yeah, I'd like to know too. I'm worried dude will be like, "Wait a minute, Jordan changed his mind, I can too and get paid more money at that!"
Any word on if or when he officially signs with us?

Spurs are probably still looking for a wing before they sign West, Kawhi, Manu and Danny.
I'd guess it should be soon since they signed Duncan, signed Aldridge, and exhausted their capspace signing Marjanovic and Simmons. With those four inked they are now over the cap and can use Bird Rights to sign Leonard and Green, use the room exception to sign Ginobili, and West to a minimum deal. These four contracts can be signed in any order now that the four that had to be signed in sequence before were taken care of.
EDIT: Actually, Simmons could be/have been signed at any time after Marjanovic.
Their capspace should be exhausted now by Marjanovic's deal.
can they still sign a player for the vet.min.?
Yeah, they can sign as many minimum contracts as they want.
Wish they would hurry the up on this one.
Yeah, I'm getting kinda nervous that he hasn't signed yet either. But then again, Green/Leonard/Manu all haven't been announced yet so maybe there's nothing to worry about
He's in El Paso. West TX

David West is in Atlanta for some Adidas kids tournament.
West is a person of integrity - he'll honor his commitment.
Gotcha. Appreciate the info
You know, I knew a joke like that was coming...
Well it would make no sense to make your minimum signings when you still have capspace. Now that capspace is spoken for you'll start to see everyone else sign as soon as Bobi's deal is inked.
If there's one player's word in the NBA you can trust, it's David West's.
Thanks! Tell Coach Bud to stay away from him!![]()
Agreed.
And Timmy Duncan's...
There actually is a West, Texas. It's where that fertilizer plant explosion was a couple years ago.
You sure about that? Didn't this say last season he would never be a ring chaser?![]()
I have a theory that 12 year old David West promised himself he would retire by age 36 if he made a load of money and he's keeping the promise. He's got one season left and he's going all out to get a ring before then. Ring and retire.
Not that I think the above is necessarily true but that is absolutely the kind of that David West would do. Keeping a promise to himself even if it hurt.
Tell him to pick up some Kolaches.
Damn I miss Kolaches. That place on I35 outside of Waco makes great Kolaches. Can't get them up here in Minnesota.![]()
