Nope. You won't see it if you make it about race.
Ok. What's the irony in a church burning? Cause, I must confess that I didn't see the irony.
Is it the cross on the building's facade that appears to be in flames?
Nope. You won't see it if you make it about race.
The roof, the roof, the roof is on fiyah!!! Is that it?
Vincent Broughton did it.
Nobody but you is seeing it any way.
And thats a shame
hmm, no.
Its fairly obvious, the lack of understanding is a bit disconcerting.
Neh, not really.
And if was really that disconcerting, you'd explain clearly instead of using condescending vagueness.
If the last 50 years of US legislation are any guide (probably longer, but I'll limit myself to what I'm certain of), mainstream liberals haven't been cooking up any kind of ban on firearms. Banning assault rifles, high-capacity mags, and AP bullets has been a pet project for a minority of liberal lawmakers from the most liberal of states (CA, MA), but they can never get the numbers to pass these bills -- even when Dems have majorities in both houses, even after the Auroras and Sandy Hooks and etc. In fact, judging by representation in the legislative/executive/judicial branches of our government, the wing-nut left-wing fringe is markedly smaller, less active, or less effective than the right. All to say: I think my point stands.
The.vagueness isnt condesending I'm not giving you the answer its there.find it or dont. just know its not race based
The Tragic Disconcernment.

Background check system failed due to incompetence.
Also because it's a bad system.
... because NRA/GOA/BigGun have paid politicians to gut, underfund, screw up, weaken gun regulations and enforcement.
Seriously, if there's a holdup, just give the guy the gun. I'm sure it will all work out.
The system is fine, the enforcement of it is not. Do you truly believe adding more laws will help when the existing ones aren't even enforced?
The system is not fine when it errs on the side of just giving guns to people who shouldn't have them.
Please explain in your own words how NRA/GOA/BigGun were responsible for the NICS failing to identify Dylan Roof as illegal to buy a gun.
There is nothing wrong with the system. 3 days is plenty of time to properly run a NICS. The FBI ed this one up royally.
"Comey said the FBI made the error due to a breakdown in the background check system and confusion with paperwork between the FBI, local police departments and county jurisdictions
Due to Roof's admission during an arrest in late February that he was in possession of drugs, he should not have been permitted to buy the gun he used in the massacre. However, an agent working for the FBI's background check system who was performing the review on Roof failed to contact the Columbia, South Carolina, police department which arrested Roof, in part because of a clerical error in records listing the wrong agency.
Because Roof's background check took longer than three days to complete, the gun shop owner was allowed to sell the gun to Roof. The law permits gun sellers to sell guns if a background check takes longer than three days to complete"
The system is not fine when it errs on the side of just giving guns to people who shouldn't have them.
That is precisely what happened here.
The system didn't err on the side of anything. It is not the system's fault the FBI was incompetent.
Of course it did.
When in doubt, give the nutburger the gun.
Can someone give me the short version of why he wasn't supposed to have a gun. Was he previously convicted of a felony?
The gun giving falls squarely on the FBI, the system works when competent people do their job properly.
I wonder if the victim's families will be notifed and told an FBI up was the reason Roof got a gun.
